I got the horrible disgusting and terrible news of no tag.... sad but I may stop pouting about it sometime before next April... but I may not. Anyhow I will get to blow some calls for a friend, and gosh darn it that is still way more fun than work! Whooohooooo!!! Love the opening day of archery elk season more than any other day of the year!

yesterday it still had midwinters elk draw on the phone lines.... This morning it said that draw results are unavailable. Something's brewing! I hope it will be real soon!

my CC got hit! whoo hoo! either Kaibab or my first ever whitetail tag! Stoked! When will the dang online or phone be up I wanna know what I drew! Hoping for tomorrow.

This wait isn't nearly as bad as elk season for me anyhow. I got my otc archery tag that keeps me sane.

Got over 5k pictures today. here are some highlights. bear cub Look how much he grew in 5 days

Ya I was surprised to see cub all alone. I think it just wandered off a little bit from mom and just got barely into camera range. All the bears I've caught on camera, none of them seem to really be interested in the black magic on the ground, usually just walking by.

Last sat I hiked out to all the cameras and downloaded a bunch of new growth pics, I love watching them grow! Found a buck killed last year in the velvet, munched up pretty good, I am assuming coyote kill since there aren't many lions in this spot, and not many hunters either. bucks: bulls: and soon I am expecting:
