I won't put my son or Grandson in this cituation for a sticking Cows deer I can hunt most units and kill deer me not going down there wont help you we don't see other hunters just drug dealers I spend over 60 days in the woods I am no Metro Barney you dip stick..I have been killing bucks for years since 1977 down south how long have you been dealing with the illegals?lets hear some of your stories running into them. This story is nothing new, it really sucks what happen to your friends, i can't count the times i have been with people that this has happen to, I can out walk 90 percent of the people with horses it's really sad how they don't spend time and keep there horses in shape, yes there was a lot of snow so if your horse can't walk in it maybe they should be walking. i have dealt with this for years a horse is only as good as the rider who works it.you don't need to switch horses mid day if your horse is in shape you might suggest to the lady that wrote this story to buy a gps.I really don't want this to start a pissing match, but people need to realize a horse is like us,without a workout they can only do so much. I think I posted this on a thread you had posted in the past, weekend riders and weekend ropers shouldn't be hunting on there horses on these kinds of hunts. Seldom Drawn

Anyone want to camp together in 35A for December Hunt?
Seldom Drawn replied to Big Browns's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
NO, border units are SCARY all the bucks are GONE! Please apply somewhere else! HAHAHA BUAHAHA! I only hunted down there once for about rwo and a half days. First night I had three illegals traipse right past me at about 25 yards. First one didn't see me the second one waved at me and I waved back. Third one also passed by without noticing me but the a few minutes later I saw them come back and the second one was pointing me out to the third one. I waved at them, they waved to me and then they went away without incident. Still made me nervous though. Couldve been mules coming through that pass just as easily as migrant workers. I'll hunt there again at some point but next time I will remember to pack a sidearm. These southern units have some awesome country and great bucks! As far as safety, you'll be fine. Drug mules and Undocumented Migrants want nothing to do with hunters. Really how do you know this? -
I might be guiding this year,5b wasn't that great this year but it's better then 10 most of the time,if you don't book with anyone i will send you some pics this summer.at least one auction tag and one raffle tag will be taken from this unit so you better hope there is more then 2 bigguns.how big are you looking for.and don't forget unit nine which I think is better then 10, but you better have time to scout for this unit. I killed at least 1500 doves and maybe 350 quail maybe 50 ducks and at least 3 turkeys, with my Mossberg 500, why does he need to graduate? If he can shoot the gun doesn't make much of a difference, but a 870 looks pretty but doesn't shoot any better. Seldom Drawn -
Is he coming to water, or are you feeding him? Seldom Drawn
