    Great recipes coming in and they all sound really good. I really want to thank everyone for all your input

     

    I think there is some really great ideas coming in. And I love to try different things, but my wife wanted me

     

    To kick back and enjoy tonight(bless her heart) We had a B/D party for my youngest son. What a great night

     

    just spending time with the family. I just want to thank you all for all your input. It is greatly appreciated.

    I always loved turkey hunting This is how I got my kids into hunting. We had a blast doing it as well. Turkeys are very vocal and the kids love it

     

    it keeps there attention on where it should be. Deer and elk hunting for the most part are not as vocal. I always took the kids up and scouted

     

    the turkeys. We patterned them. On the night before the season we would march our but up where they had been roosting on our scouting

     

    trips, And we would put them down for the night. That way we new exactly what tree they were in for the night. Opening morning We were right

     

    there. Few calls and we had our bird. To funny my youngest sons first bird. I could not afford to buy him hunting clothes so he used my old

     

    hunting clothes with suspenders. It was like he was swimming in them. Good memories.

    I bought a point for Antelope & I put in for to early rifle Bull tags with the hope I wouldn't draw, because I already have 2 Canada hunts scheduled for the spring and fall. I don't have enough vacation time if I drew Elk. I figured if I was going to cancel my Canada trips early Elk would be a great reason.

     

    Hey big B what kind of hunts do you have planned up north? Sounds like moose and bear?

    I have had people mess with my camera I am I am just happy they are still there. Nothing wrong with checking someone's card. It's public land.

     

    I wouldnt want to hunt with you. You sound to hardcore. I would be scared to fart. You would probably yell at me and make me cry.

    No I do not walk on water, nor am I saying I have never done anything wrong. I am far from being perfect. I also believe in forgiveness.

     

    I just think that there is alot people that forget about proper Hunting ethics. I also think there are alot of people that would benefit from taking

    He is not hiding for what he did. Ill give him that. How many guides push the envelope but don't get caught? I have alittle more respect for him..

     

    Who hasn't messed with a camera: Checked the card, maybe turned it off on accident, turned it around, and or put a big piece of mud on the lens?

     

    Just saying. Haven't been caught or admitting any wrong doing. I plead insanity in the woods.

     

     

    Wow Really this is what we all want to hear. I think this is a piss poor attitude and nothing any ethical hunter wants to hear or see.

    Is this really what you would want done to you? or teach our kids? Totally disagree and call B/S on this type of attitude and ethics.

     

    I have seen lots of cameras in the field and never have touched a single one. and never even have had a thought to touch one.

     

    I also think we all need to think about our actions in the field and what we are teaching our kids and our 10 year old nephews.

     

    I would even go as far to recommend taking the firearm safety coarse. I think alot of us think we know everything about hunting and fishing.

     

    There is far more to know then just how the animals move and killing a trophy at all cost. It is called ethics, and how we handle our selves in the field.

    I hate to be the guy who says this about guys cards expiring tonight but I feel the need. We are all big boys/women here for the most part and by now in your life should understand things don't always go as planned and should pick a card that expires after the result release day or send in fund the old fashion way. I feel the same way about how they circle back 3 times with everyone who's card get rejected before moving on to the next person. There likely are several people each year who put in with checks after the second chance deadline that bounce for reasons out of their control and does G&F follow up three times with them? We have just been lucky the past several years that they process our cards in March no where does it say in the regulations that all cards must be processed and the draw ran in March. With all that being said I am sure you will get your three phone calls just like everyone else does every year.

    I love all these game and fish brown nosers. Just because they put a deadline for end of April doesn't make it ok for them to take that long. We've said it before that other states can get their draw done close to a month after app deadline. Az takes at least 2 month if not 2 and a half. If they said the deadline was end of June for results should we just sit back and deal with it and wait and say they are on schedule? It's 2016 people. Technology has advanced more than ever and azgfd is only going backwards. If it truly took 2 and a half months to get the draw done without problems then that's fine. But when they are taking that long because they are incompetent and have been screwing up the draw for years that's not ok. They make tens of millions of dollars off these draws. If a private company had as many incompetent idiots working for them and wasting money like azgfd they would have went bankrupt long ago and a better company would have moved it. Unfortunately were stuck with this department and have to deal with it but it's still not ok.
    it's so funny you talk so much shoot yet it's 2016 and you have your own business as a guide and you still feel the need to get caught cutting cameras off of trees of fellow guides. Do we need to post the video and pics Blake? You guys want 60 pages? Have him explain how such a model citizen got caught with his 10 year old nephew cutting cameras off of trees and driving off-road to do it

     

     

    WHAT someone here on the forum is cutting cameras off trees??????? WTF

    AZGFD added News today .... Here is the meat and Potatoes !

    "Meanwhile, the random draw process remains on schedule and should be completed by mid-April. The department is aware that applicants are eager to learn whether they will be receiving a hunt-permit. The department will post an announcement on its website and Facebook page when results officially are released. All permit-tags and refunds are expected to be mailed by April 22."

    My card was set to expire March 31st as well. I noticed this before putting in for the draw. So I called the CC company and explained what the situation was.

     

    It was awesome they put a rush on my new card, sent it out one day mail NO Charge . And was able to use my new card like 2 days before the draw deadline date.

    Little off topic but

     

    Just watched that 20/20 special on the American Sniper. When Chris Kyle and his buddy were gunned down at the gun range

    By another American veteran.

     

    Chris survives his tour over seas as a sniper. To come home and try and help other veterans deal with life after. When helping another veteran Chris and his buddy get gunned down at the gun range. WOW This guy that killed him, is a real piece of chit.

     

    Life is short live it to its fullest. Also want to put a huge THANK YOU to all the vetrans out there.
