Boquias or red lands for big bulls. Mine last year was 332"fish and the camp next to us filled three of four tags by Sunday morning with none under 310". Never saw any deer at all. Saw deer in 8 just south of 40 a lot so they should be north of 8 too.

That's funny, I have a 300RUM myself. She has shot the 22 and enjoyed it along with her sister. I have to make more time to get her out and start studying for the hunters safety course. I figure I'll work her up to shooting the AR and AK and if she gets comfy with those and still says she wants to hunt I'll get her a 243 or a 270. She really likes the idea of a bow which is something I never got into but have thinking I may so I can hunt deer close to home.

I was wondering who had paid for my tag! That's might christian of you.

Didn't the elk card hits take over a week? Why is it that deer would take 3-4 days? No hit for me either but we'll see.

Congrats! I too have two girls who are 10 & 8 and they both say they want to hunt with me. I took my 10 year old with on my elk hunt last year and to my surprise she was right next to my elk and the three in the next camp when we got them up in the tree. She was curious to watch the skinning and quartering. I gave her some disposable cameras and she took lots of pic of hanging elk. I may put her in next year if I can get her to start squeezing the trigger but this may be hard to do since she hates loud noises.

Congrats, I seem to be in for tag soup. At least I can put my 10 year old daughter in for deer.

I don't know but I kinda figure they already hit the cap which takes us out of the pool. I have loyalty points too so how does that help with a non resident on the ap?

I just got off the phone with GFD and the lady I spoke with said they are NOT finished yet. She would not tell me anything about my status about the draw. Fingers crossed but with my dad as a non resident being the primary I don't know what to think.

Don't forget they go lay in the tall grass in Mormon lake. Walk out there and you just may kick something up. See it a lot up there. I have a tag in 10 for early rifle and sure hope they get more rain up there cause it was dry last week when I was there.
