Still cant get past the phrase "trucks full of antlers". From the sounds of it more bucks were killed during the general elk hunt than the general deer hunt. And that was just one road in one unit.

Busy with citations? Trucks full of antlers? Crazy. So there were people going thru the check station THINKING they had shot elk when they had instead shot deer? And there were multiple people who had made this mistake? Please elaborate. I cant imagine this much stupidity all gathered in one spot.

Maybe AZG&F should invest in some dietary re-education programs for the lions in that area? That seems like a good way to throw away some more money. Or maybe some wolves in the area would hepl curb the lion population? Maybe we could just put some signs up in the area telling the lions that that area is unsafe to to a high level of immigrant traffic and they should move elsewhere?

I know a few libs who are already bemoaning the fact of term limits, and saying "if he could only run one more time. " I don't think even the chosen one could pull this off, but I guarantee he will try.

So does FS really have the personnel to keep track of all trailers and how long they've been there? Of course not. So their next move will be to ban overnight camping except for in designated areas. They want to make it more and more difficult so well stay off of THEIR forests. When they start seizing peoples property the law suits will follow.

To ensure your trailer is left alone by the Forest Nazis festoon it liberally (pun intended) with Obama/Biden decals, PETA bumper stickers and a cleverly placed "legalize it" window sticker. Then leave an stinky pair of Birkenstocks next to the door and maybe add a Che Guerva t-shirt just for color. The minions of the forest service will recognize you as one of their own and pass you by. I noticed the other morning that FS had some heavy equipment in the woods that had been there past the 72 hour cinderella deadline. I had keys to fit ALL of the equipment and would have loved to have moved it all down the road and out of site then left them a note telling them it had been abandoned and towed. But I chickened out. dang wouldn't it have been great to see their faces.

Man I am jealous of you guys who can kill a bull on these hunts. I've had a handfull of late archery 22 tags and now 2 unit 8 late archery tags and just cant get it done. Congrats thats a pretty bull and a good looking pack string.

Thats a good looking ram in that photo. I know that a really nice ram was killed in 6a last year. Im sure you'll pull a great one out of there as well. Looking forward to the pics and a story. Good luck

I am in awe. 99 percent of us will never even see a bull close to that size. Very impressive great job.

Years ago I hunted that unit many times in December. Saw some really good bucks and always had fun. Don't know it its still the same. The most accesible areas do get alot of pressure.

By now shes had to have her phone number shut down and personal email accounts closed. By now shes had death threats given to her and family as well. Her TV show will probably go into hiatus (sp?). She wont be able to do public appearances anywhere. She may have even hired armed security. Her carreer and personal life will be in shambles. Shell be the butt of jokes on all the late nite idiocy and at the awards shows where the other idiots sit around and kiss eachothers butt. All because she shot a lion. I started to read an online article about it and just couldnt get thru the first paragraph due to the bias and utter lack of intelligence of the author. Soon our kids will not be allowed to wear camo or hunting themed clothing to school. But by all means your neighbors 14 year old daughter will be able to get the "morning after" pill without consent or even ID. I used to think that soon, those of us level headed and moral people would take this country back. Now Im not sure we can and do we even want it anymore?

Ive been wasting my time sitting water in the afternoons too. Usually from noon to dark. Then I waste my mornings stumbling around still hunting and trying to remember why did I ever put in for another of these late archery hunts.
