Ive decided to switch from the WB simply because why shouldnt I get all the performance out of by rig that I can and because I want to. Theres nothing really bad about WBs the do just what theyre supposed to do. heck theres nothing wrong with good old flipper rests for that matter. They have all the same inherent problems as any rest does. I just want a rest that sends my arrow down the field as straight and clean and quietly as possible.

I once silenced a naysayer with the very same point your hippie friend made... Drawing a goat tag has caused me to rethink app'ing for a NM elk tag. And since my hunting partner drew a late archery bull tag he wont be app'ing with me for Coues in NM.

Personally I'd like to add a .223 and a .17 to my gun collection, oh yeah and also a 30/30 lever action saddle carbine like i had when I was a kid. What would you guys add to your gun collection?

Huntn coues... Do you remember us trying to hunt hogs up by Jacks Canyon way back in 85?

Obviously there must a been a couple of VIPs in that bunch of Cabelas tags... So, after having the missing apps brought in via black helicopter, G&F is feverishly getting them into the data base so they can have their tags. All the while keeping the whole thing hush-hush so as to appear as if they were there all along. This is the only reasonable explanation for the delay.

Blue Ridge was always my favorite when I lived in that country. A little difficult to access but theres always catchable fish. Dont overlook Knoll lake either.

Im with Huntn coues on this one... i love the anticipation too. Its even better that we get to endure it twice a year now. Probably wont draw anyway so the pre-draw excitement is all some of us have. Remember the olden days when you just had to wait for a silly pink slip in the mail? Or spending hours trying to break thru on a crowded phone line? Ahhhh memories.

Had the oppurtunity to take my daughters to Karchner caverns on Thursday. What a great experience. The tour guides were very informative and the girls learned a ton. Smack in the middle of some good looking coues country too.

Ahhh. The good old days. Back im my old high school (Payson High School '82-'86) I guarantee there were enough guns in the parking lot to take over a small South American country.

I bought some from Jim at the show last nite. Tried them out today and am very pleased with my purchase. Smaller field of view then the other pair of 15s i own but glass was extremely clear and bright. Thumbs up.
