My orthopedist refused to sign the crossbow permit originally due to the 85% disability wording….,,it took surgery #3 to get it signed. Yeah, they get abused, a buddy got one and there’s nothing wrong with his ability to shoot a compound, his doc just scribbled away when he asked her. I feel bad for the people that really need one and want to hunt with one getting bumped to general hunts tho. But it’s all a moot point from here on out

“Intellectual disability” I think there’s a couple people on this site that can qualify for a Champ permit…..lol

There guys shooting that with their adjustable pin, range zeroing stuff as it is. High tech compounds are not much different than xbows. success rates are probably the same.

Looking for American Brittany and GSP breeders

Hunting over dogs is the sweetest. I miss those days, now I got a house lab and a psycho cattle dog. Used to run a flushing lab and a Brit, great combo . -
Been perverted. What’s that supposed to mean? Guys sitting in their vehicles spanking their monkey? I have a crossbow permit ( now worthless) due to ruined shoulders. I used that hateful contraption for one archery cow tag . It was the most annoying thing to lug around, and then blew up on my shot opp. Sold it on for a huge loss. I’m fine with gun hunting now. Early archery hunts are way more fun than later gun hunts tho. Even cow hunts with rut activity are more exciting and productive.

Carl, price negotiated was as a 98 . Parts are supposed to be easier to source. I asked your son on the year due to comments on the original thread. .., he assured me it was a 98.. Lotta fuel and time wasted . Decent unit, just not a 98 or newer which is what I was looking for.

Boarman, you need this!

They’re also the drain on my wallet…. Upgrade equipment to use less power, the monopolies just raise their rates to keep the same or, usually more income coming in…..no winning . I think they pay their employees too much..,, your thoughts? lol

Didn’t know Outdoorlife still had life? I used to to love that mag until it started advertising boner pills in the classified. Awkward to explain while reading articles with my daughter when she was ten.

I’ve gone to WY twice, both times were pre ONX, and trying to make sure we were on public land on the first was a PIA. Ranchers would follow us around hoping you shot one on their ranch, as GF would hit you with a fine you had to pay to them… the next trip we paid a modest trespass fee to a local rancher who limited hunter numbers for lots of land , and it was waaay less stressful. Worth the money at the time, albeit that was 20+ years ago

What he said above. It’s the Feds sh*t show. I talked with the WM for one of the rim units last year about them, they’re no more fans of those nags than us hunters, but their hands are tied. Let’s get the Orange Man involved, and we can begin deporting them with all the ilegos the first of the year. Send everyone back to wherever with a horse till they run out

I’ve got a coworker who’s born in Mexico who always brings me some that have ruined me… they are always the bomb! She doesn’t make them, but has numerous friends that do. I’ve found that the Instapot is the ONLY way to go to reheat, 5 minutes and perfect! Each year is a treat ….

I think it all boils down to how busy or backed up the processor is , and how much time they’ll spend gleaning the carcass. A quality processor will put the time in, our last one said they were cranking 9-12 elk out a day. I guess it should have been a warning sign. Live and learn.
