Vintage Chattanooga 143T rustic wheelbarrow.
NOTAGS replied to Roofer Billy's topic in Classified Ads
There’s one born every day . Looks like a dump run to me, but, hey, what do I know? Some CA / West coast hipster may feel that’s the piece de resistance for their yard feng shui…. I was amazed at what rusted inoperable farm equipment sold for for “ yard art”… GLWS. You sell it , I may start digging around..,, -
As usual ,crooked iPhone photo. Griddle fried grouper w mocajete ground guac, hit with lime juice and Tabasco. Fat man down…,

The irony of this is, everyone balks at having a Dr. do a digital exam. I had a girlfriend who did the Shazam at the right moment pretty regularly and I never complained, lol. My annual with my urologist is tomorrow , most PCs on todays plans skip both the PSA test and the digital due to insurance BS. The extra copay once a year is worth it to me as I have three friends my age who were diagnosed, and had to have prostectomies. I’ll take the probing over what they went through.

Dang , my camera man must have had a few beers, he’s outta focus on the tri tip, lol..

Tonite: Tri tip roast

Not for tonite, but going to freeze for elk hunt.

Two game saws, one the Gerber , other an older but very functional Knapp. One Old Timer gut hook knife. Older(as in good quality) Cabelas Fanny pack w suspenders. Thinking a new youth hunter could put them to use. In Peoria, but work out to Surprise. Prefer to give all together rather individually.

Said no one. I said most guys I saw checking cams were driving right up to the tank, including guys in trucks. No one seemed to want to walk to remote water sources, those were the ones I saw no cameras on. Walking in, you have a pretty good chance of seeing wildlife, driving in, not so much. Even now, I'll see vehicles as close to the water as they can get, and maybe get out and walk around it.

Hunter opportunity? LOL.

“The op has a point the ban has probably taken alot of guys outa the woods a little more than normal and I can see how there could be some downside to it but you can and should do some pretty scouting before your hunt.” I’m not sure that’s a bad thing really. Most of the camera checking I had seen was guys buzzing around in SxSs or trucks…..driving straight to the water hole, no walking in, no early mornings, or late afternoons. I don’t miss seeing the clutter and seeing lag bolts run into healthy trees myself. A little more woodmanship is required once again.

So, if you had been able to put a camera there, you would have noticed it how? By going out to check the camera, correct? What is the difference between that and live scouting? If you had gone scouting in the flesh the old fashioned way, you'd have noticed it as well. I am missing the blame game point myself. Not to mention the old fashioned way of scouting would tend to require a few more trips, so you'd have been able to return with materials to repair it sooner in the summer.......JMO

Man crush?

I put them on the propane grill on high , but also take a hand torch and hit the spots that aren’t blistering enough for my liking. It really speeds up the process.

My neighbor and his nephew both killed coues last year on the rifle hunt up there. He was pretty amazed, was expecting to find muleys. I see them in 4A and B as well.

Didley squat in the NW valley over night, just the east sides left over rain and clouds.

Air fried grouper and summer corn. No frills , just good eating..

So, the above post was a question? I don’t want to muck the boots up to where I can’t exchange them. If they stretch slightly like my Danners always did I’ll be ok, but I don’t want to end up with a pair that’s too tight at that price point. Bojangles? Yours loosen up ok?

Was that whole thing cast iron cooked? Looks fantastic!

fishing is always in season. ... I'll bet that whatever unit the elk hunt is in, its WAAAYYY cooler than here in the Valley of the Heat,.....
-
So for those of you who bought the Schnee new, do they stretch out like typical leather boots ? Mine came in today, the left feels pretty good walking around the house, the right is a bit tight due to an old toe injury. I bought 10 W which is what I wear in every other boot/shoe. Not sure if I need to go up a 1/2 size due to them being European made?

I’d be so freaking happy just to have an early bull tag again, it wouldn’t bother me other than make me antsy as heck. I’m hoping there’s some quality cows left for my ghetto tag in Sept……

Now there’s a realistic trophy pose! Great bull!
