Tonto, Coconino, Apache-Sitgreaves NF Fire Restrictions
NOTAGS replied to Red Rabbit's topic in The Campfire
Why would you feel the need for a fire on your private property when the whole state is drier than Nancy Pelosi's box? FAFO on fire restrictions shows a lock of common sense. You read about it pretty often. -
to the OP, burn your points in the other unit, go hunting... leaves one more tag for me with my .000001% chance
-
You may be in the running for a one horned hunt at that point.....plus a CHAMP permit....
-
So, what’s a Medicare hunter? Us older guys? Lol

GF website is winning, I cant find it. Anyone have any luck digging it out yet and willing to share link?
-
Yes, thank you! How’d you dig that out? I had zero success…

Baby quail sightings

looks kinda like Nancy Pelosi... all puffed up and nowhere to go -
Nice Job! As windy as it was all weekend, that took some doing....
-
That’s good news. I still think it would be less expensive( and more fun) to classify them like feral pigs, as in shoot on sight. No difference.
-
I totally agree with the V hull recommendation for sure..... much smoother ride, drier ride on rough days

This! Let someone else take the depreciation hit and loss. New boat prices are criminal. Theres tons of Trackers for sale that are garage queens, people buy them and then never use them. Take your time and you'll find a deal... I bought a 5 year old Tracker that had been totaled by the guy's insurance for cosmetic damage in a storm, saved 10Koff KB, and I'm still running the piss out of it 15 years later. Ugly as sin, but runs like a champ. Plus 1 for the larger motor too, if you ever want to fish Lee's Ferry, you'll want and need the extra go.

Glad it was your young butt fighting those sea monsters.... Ill take the 30lbers these days. We'll see how it goes in another 2 weeks! Hoping for more of the same. I replaced my lucky rod that you broke with that beast....lol, grabbed a spare just in case too.

" I have heard a lot of the towns got bubonic plague and were eradicated, but it's been many years since I checked on the towns. These were in unit 1, 3b & 3c + whatever is west of St. Johns." Thats my experience, there were a couple good sized towns we would shoot for an hour or so. They are no longer there. I didnt know if the ranchers had poisoned them or what, but the plague makes more sense. Its too bad, cause it was great fun, hopefully the varmints recover at some point.

The overall weight of the drum, lid etc. holds the heat, plus the temp stays nailed. If you’re into long smokes, slow cooks, you’ll appreciate that. The price delta between them and Traeger is not much. If you’re just into eating, buy a Charbroil and save even more …to each their own
-
What?
-
Recteq… their temp controls and construction beat everyone except Yoder. Yoder’s the bomb, but super heavy and expensive. Recteq has a cast iron heat exchanger, which holds temp solid. Check them out .

Up in Heber, crazy warm.. plants are blooming early, and the birds are talking already. Had several Tom’s sounding off yesterday late, this morning I was out and hearing hens clucking, and responding gobbles. Hope they don’t mate early and end up w frozen eggs if weather goes to normal. I hope they’re still responsive for you tag holders when the season starts.
