That’s good news. I still think it would be less expensive( and more fun) to classify them like feral pigs, as in shoot on sight. No difference.

I totally agree with the V hull recommendation for sure..... much smoother ride, drier ride on rough days

This! Let someone else take the depreciation hit and loss. New boat prices are criminal. Theres tons of Trackers for sale that are garage queens, people buy them and then never use them. Take your time and you'll find a deal... I bought a 5 year old Tracker that had been totaled by the guy's insurance for cosmetic damage in a storm, saved 10Koff KB, and I'm still running the piss out of it 15 years later. Ugly as sin, but runs like a champ. Plus 1 for the larger motor too, if you ever want to fish Lee's Ferry, you'll want and need the extra go.

Glad it was your young butt fighting those sea monsters.... Ill take the 30lbers these days. We'll see how it goes in another 2 weeks! Hoping for more of the same. I replaced my lucky rod that you broke with that beast....lol, grabbed a spare just in case too.

" I have heard a lot of the towns got bubonic plague and were eradicated, but it's been many years since I checked on the towns. These were in unit 1, 3b & 3c + whatever is west of St. Johns." Thats my experience, there were a couple good sized towns we would shoot for an hour or so. They are no longer there. I didnt know if the ranchers had poisoned them or what, but the plague makes more sense. Its too bad, cause it was great fun, hopefully the varmints recover at some point.

The overall weight of the drum, lid etc. holds the heat, plus the temp stays nailed. If you’re into long smokes, slow cooks, you’ll appreciate that. The price delta between them and Traeger is not much. If you’re just into eating, buy a Charbroil and save even more …to each their own

What?

Recteq… their temp controls and construction beat everyone except Yoder. Yoder’s the bomb, but super heavy and expensive. Recteq has a cast iron heat exchanger, which holds temp solid. Check them out .

Up in Heber, crazy warm.. plants are blooming early, and the birds are talking already. Had several Tom’s sounding off yesterday late, this morning I was out and hearing hens clucking, and responding gobbles. Hope they don’t mate early and end up w frozen eggs if weather goes to normal. I hope they’re still responsive for you tag holders when the season starts.

Stanley, yes, the federal deficit is of concern to me. Believe it or not, I consider myself a fiscally conservative republican. We don’t need to be another country that’s financially crushed due to government spending and mismanagement. A balanced budget is a pipe dream with all of our government waste, and the fact each party demands funds for their pet causes….ie Obamacare, basically our government paying for individual healthcare. Side note, how come congress still gets paid during a shutdown, yet TSA is required to work without pay? They should lose their pay permanently for each day of a shutdown. I’d bet they’d reconcile much quicker.. The first step I see to reduce the federal deficit, is to shrink our government. There are too many departments wasting money and providing no benefit to the citizens of the country. Committees formed to review things nobody cares about. DOGE was a good start. Secondly, quit sending money we don’t actually have to foreign countries, let them bail themselves out. Third, quit giving money to people who don’t want to work and aren’t even trying to find work. Or illegal immigrants. I’ve worked my entire life, paid taxes, and never asked for a handout. Trump makes promises he can’t deliver for sure. The war in Ukraine is far from over, we’ve poured billions into it that we don’t have, and will never see again. Inflation has slowed, but prices are still out of control. Tariffs have raised consumer prices, but also caused some major companies to bring production back to the US. But the average American hasn’t benefitted from them. Did I miss anything? A funny story , tho. The Mexican citizen who launches our boats out of Cholla Bay raised his rates twice during the Biden admin, the second one amounting to a 33% increase from before 2020. When I commented on it, his reply was “Blame your F-ing President!” When I replied, “My President?” He said “Yaah, your F-ing President! You dollars aren’t worth sh*t no more!” He then started going into the dollar to peso exchange rate, leaving me laughing..

It’s used to create fish habitat, duh!? Build a bridge… get over it, or stay home

Well gee, it sure wasn’t our last one, Wally. How many millions of undocumented Illegal immigrants were released into our country under ice cream guy?Trophy, weigh in, I know you know, you’re the Rainman on numbers like this. All of them sucking up federal $ to place wherever , and now way more $$$ to find and remove. Plus a lot of them embarked on lives of criminal activity, some violent, against American citizens. Not to mention fencing off Sleepy Joes personal beach house, at taxpayers expense, thus adding to the federal deficit ( Stanley?)he could have used some of that money he got from Hunters shake downs for that, right? At least orange guy is willing to try to do something, rather than fall off bikes while his auto pen runs the country.

That will never happen, no matter what party or president is in…all politicians talk about term limits etc., until they get on the tit. It’s a nice dream. As a business owner, I wish I could spend $$$ all over and borrow money that I will never ever pay back and expect taxpayers to be liable for it for eternity. Career politicians suck, and on both sides.

Hillary called MAGA supporters “ Deplorables”, and yotebuster calls them “ bootlickers”…. Dang tough crowd. I have to wonder tho, how any American can not get behind the idea to “ Make America Great Again”? Returning jobs, and manufacturing to the US, making America less reliant on foreign countries annd their products, and supporting our own citizens rather than foreigners here illegally is a bad thing? Using the acronym as a derogatory label is amusing to me.

Dang, sounds like our moderator has TDS… Rational question: how can we protect the homeland, aka America, if the radical towel heads have nukes? No answer? But, the good news is our munitions are being made in USA, not China… keep the $$ at home. You need to send this to the cellar before you end up on the View. Guessing I’ll be banned on CWT by morning.

That started long ago… grew very nicely w no checks or balances with the last mouth breather that was in office. Inflation and gas prices rose faster than a teenagers pecker… No other country has the balls other than Israel to end Iran’s terrorist, “kill the infidels”mentality. Peace and Freedom comes with a price.

The Australian Cattle Dog (ACD) is a hardy, intelligent, and energetic herding breed developed in Australia for droving cattle, known for its loyalty, stamina, and problem-solving skills, often called Blue or Red Heelers due to their coat colors. They are compact, muscular dogs with a short, dense double coat that comes in blue or red speckled patterns, and they require significant exercise and mental stimulation to prevent destructive FYI….busy little shites is what it boils down to

They shed like crazy! They have two coats, and they both grow like weeds. I’ve had labs, both long and short hair, and they shed. Normal amounts. I’m surprised the Navajos didn’t start raising Heelers for their fur instead of sheep.. ACDs start shedding, they look like they’ve got the mange… patches and tufts. Great dogs, but, if hairs a dealbreaker, get something ending in Oodle,, or an Airedale or a Welsh terrier. I’m told they don’t shed . But never owned one so don’t quote me.
