Who does everyone recommend for a transmission shop on 96 4runner 4x4?
-
Any guess as to what might be wrong since you seem to have some knowledge?
-
I'll give them call! A-Z seems solid with quite a few recommendations but I'm in the EV and so is the 4runner so it might save a bunch of tow fees
-
Will do!
-
I'll give him a call thanks
-
Thanks. This is a 4runner im thinking of buying that's having some transmission issues so i was trying to get a worst case scenario cost. He drove it thru emissions a couple weeks ago no issues and now says it won't shift past first. If anyone has any thoughts please let me know.

Since the addition of our new dog the Guinea pig doesn't get much play time and she is free to a good home. Super friendly and loves to cuddle. Never bites, loves treats. Her enclose is included but is probably ready to be replaced. Will Include a supply of food and bedding.

Thanks Ron! -
These would go in the rear under the coil springs to restore the factory rake. The radius arm drop brackets aren't mandatory but from what I was told they help restore the correct steering geometry. I have had tons of steering issues on mine and finally gave up so these were never installed
-
Garage clean out continues. Offering rear spacers and Radius arm drop brackets. If you have a front leveling kit this has all you need to complete the rear and drop the radius arms to correct steering geometry. Add a front leveling kit if you don't already have one. Thanks Todd...still available -
Howdy folks- I've been sending my brass out for annealing lately and hoping to get this out of my garage. Very simple and affordable kit. No salt included but link to purchase is below. Salt runs $9.00. There's an article on the internet stating salt bath annealing doesn't work but there's also people who swear by it so its worthwhile to do a little research and form your own opinion.
