  8. If I knew how to sew or had some type of iron-on repair patch, I would fix them myself but I'm helpless when it comes to that. ---- I'd like to get $100 for the pants. I'm more or less bundling the gear for a great deal. Pants/Jacket are $140/ea. + $40/ea for gloves & mask.

  10. Looking to sell my primos alpha dogg e-call. Works perfectly but I don't use it any more as I mainly use hand calls and my Bose blue tooth speaker if needed. Has some extra sounds on it as well for predator calling. Looking to get $200 but will consider offers. Call / Text 480-235-0870
  11. Headed out late, Thursday the 2nd, to 20C with a buddy. He'd spent time here before and harvested javelina in the past. We spent the entire day hiking and glassing on Friday with no luck. Seemed like everyone else out there was coming up empty as well. Saturday morning rolled around and we got up to a spot we scouted the night before early, right as the sun was rising. We split up and went in opposite directions to cover a couple of different hill sides. We both had OK cell service so we figured we'd give each other a ring if we glassed anything up. I walked about 500 yards from the road we split ways at and stopped to take a minute to listen for anything in the area. Sure enough, about 3 minutes into the silence I heard a grunt from a javelina and then a couple of cries from a baby javelina. I called my buddy and began stalking in to get a closer look. As my buddy swung in, we got into a good position as to not give away our scent. We stalked in about 150 yards and spotted a herd of about 6 - 7 full grown javelinas circling a tree. We moved in quietly but a couple seemed to grab our scent and hit the hills running. I was able to get an arrow off at about 25 - 30 yards into a nice female as the rest of the herd split. This would be my first archery big game harvest. The tree mentioned previously was actually a den which held two tiny new born javelinas which we suspected the herd was trying to protect. We took a couple of pictures and left to make sure they didn't become predator bait. Enjoy the pictures.
