Anyone live in the Cottonwood/Camp Verde/Sedona/Flagstaff/Prescott area looking to get rid of a jon boat (prefer a flat bottom/square nose style)? Have $700 cash to spend or if someone has a good running older bass boat like a bass tracker or something else that would do a $700+AR10 chambered in 6.5 cm trade. Thought I had a jon boat lined up to buy but its been 2 or 3 days and haven't heard back from the guy. If anyone has something you can text me at 9282029121 or message me on here. Thank you.

Hello, I just recently got a 6.5x300 weatherby vanguard series 2 and after doing some research. It sounds like the caliber is a barrel burner if your not careful. I was wondering if there is a company that makes bull barrel or heavier duty barrel for the rifle. Thanks

Ive been doing research on Colorado OTC archery antelope tags and was wondering if anyone on here has gone and done it and have success. From what I've found units 14 and 133 are probably the best units to hunt. If anyone has any pointers or advice please message me. Thank you.

Hello guys and gals, am looking for a good muzzle brake for my 6.5 Creedmoor. The kick doesnt bother me but my wife will be using it this year if she draws her first deer tag. Fingers are crossed for that.

It's a Thompson Center T/C Compass and the barrel was already threaded. I'll have to look in the manual to see if it tells me what the threads are.

Hello everyone, First thing I wanna say is am not looking for anyones hot spots or anything like that. Am just looking for some pointers and general areas to check out. 3 of my buddy's and I picked up some left over tags for 19b and neither of us have spent much time in there or hunted it. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you and safe hunting.

Does anyone know of a place close to Cottonwood/ Camp Verde/ Sedona/ Jerome area that could tune my bow for me and help me set it up? It a new bow I have shot it maybe 3 times or so just to see how it shoots. It's a PSE Surge

Does Mile High build custom strings also. I don't have a elk tag unfortunately but if everything works out like am hoping then I'll be going to Colorado when my dad and little sister go for her bull hunt and I'll buy a OTC either sex tag and attempt to take one with my bow.

I wanna start recording my hunts and scouting trips. What kinda of video cameras do some of you guys use and how are is it to graph together to videos from to different cameras? Thank you for the information in advance.

Thanks for the info. If you don't mind me asking what kinda of camera are you guys using and what would you say is the hardest thing about self filming your hunts?

Hi everyone, Ive been thinking of either rechambering my Ruger MKII 30-06 to a 300 Win Mag or trying to trade my little fishing boat for a 300 Win Mag or Ultra Mag. I would love a 300 Ultra Mag but can I do a long action 300 Ultra Mag? Sorry for all the question Ill be asking but Ive never dealt with any caliber bigger then a 7mm mag. 1) If I rechamber my Ruger what barrels would you guys recommend I check out and what kinda of muzzle breaks work the best for a 300? 2) Is there gonna have to be work done to the action so it can cycle the 300 smoothly? 3) What kinda of stocks to you guys perfer for the bigger calibers? A heavy one to help with the recoil a little more or a light one for the pleasure of not killing your shoulder hiking around all day? 4) Is there any local gunsmiths that you guys recommend to do all this work and who is reasonably priced? I plan on getting the parts first before taking the gun to be built so that maybe itll be a little cheaper. I live in Cottonwood Arizona but willing to go to phx or tucson for a good gunsmith. Thank you guys ahead of time for all the info. Work hard, Hunt harder.

Rechambering my Ruger MK II
Barnesboy replied to Barnesboy's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
If the gun wasnt so sentimental to me i would just sell it and buy a remington but the gun has a lot of sentimental value to me. Thats why i want to use it for a build. -

Yes there was a lot of people we set camp up as well just off of the Rheimer springs road The goal is to get my grandpas tag filled opening morning hopfully. He's not a looking to put a mount on the wall. He is looking to fill his freezer. If we get his opening day or even the 2nd day then the rest of the hunt i plan to backpack in to the wilderness area and camp out for a few days and get away from everyone else.
-
My grandfather and i both drew the tag. Went out Friday all day and glassed up a bear, lion, coyotes, and 4 whitetails. There was a lot of elk hunters and a lot of guys already setting up camp for the whitetail hunt.

Looking to trade my little fishing boat for a pair of vortex 15s with tripod before my whitetail hunt in October. It does come with bass seats and comes with a rare 3.5 hp evinrude that folds up. No trailer. Motor is winterized now but does run. Just looking to trade it. Any questions feel free to call or text 9282029121 or pm me. Thank you.
