You're lucky. Replacement blade or not, that's what gets us in trouble even more if you're by yourself. I had a solo hunt this year and had to be extra careful not to hurt myself after I got my deer. Maybe it's my job as a Superintendent that forces safety that life has become a big safety concern for me. I know when I got mine down, my attitude was get it done as quick as I can and that's when I start being sloppy and can cut myself. I had to take pause a few times. Thanks for sharing, it's a lesson for all of us.

I don't know Koury from anywhere but I hear a lot of people that like him. He probably innocently used the pic to bolster his guide business because he does guide a lot in 3a/3c. -
I sent a text as well. I got seconds.....or thirds or whatever it's up to. I have a Vixxen in 6mm PPC and could use another one.

I agree. You're doing something right. Keep up the patience. You've done better than most I know in 10.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm in Mesa, AZ.

I'm not a parent, so my opinion may not be worth much. It seems to me from what I see, kids are going to have a hard time getting into hunting if they live in the City. I grew up in a small town where it was so easy to hunt and shoot that my dad and I would do it a few times a week. It seems like if you live in the city, you can only do those things maybe once or twice a month. Even at that, some of those trips will be half assed because you can only spend a few hours doing it because of the need to get back and take care of other things. That and kids being so plugged in constantly it's easier to enjoy other hobbies out of necessity. It's the way small town and city people evolve. Don't think I'm bashing city people because I'm now one.

That area around the Pink Cliffs and the wind turbines used to be a great area. Now it's a wasteland of roads and substations. Some areas that were hard to get to in the past now have well travelled roads.

This is an important topic. I try my best to not screw anybody's hunt up. I think it's a big deal during archery antelope season because they will just about run at sight of a vehicle 300 yards away. I actually screwed up someone's hunt about 11 years ago by driving trough a push down where there was a group of antelope. If I was thinking, I would have noticed his truck at the beginning of it and backed off. At the end of the day I met up with this truck at a gate. I started talking with him and figured out that he and his dad were on a stalk and were making some serious progress when I pushed them away. They were cool about it but I felt horrible and now try to be aware of these things.

I let them live too. There are enough haters out there that it sort of balances out. I'm dying to eat one and try it out. Up north, they're small and not worth the effort, but if I find a decent sized one in the low desert, I'll take it. One of my favorite movie scenes has a speech about a rattlesnake. It was from Natural Born Killers and an old Navajo tells a story of how a young woman gathering wood comes across a snake frozen in the snow. She takes the snake home and nurses it back to health. One day the snake bites her, as she lays there dying, she asked the snake "why have you done this" and the snake answers "look bitch, you knew I was a snake".

What if he has nothing to feel remorse about? You keep forgetting it's not proven yet.Believe me, I know what you mean. The trouble I have is with his past. If this topic was about a City Municipal worker with a few traffic violations in his past, my attitude would be different.
-
Can someone that knows him please comment, does he feel any remorse?

I feel bad for those people that defended him in the other thread. It's posted in another forum too. Bad deal for sure.

This was a few weeks back. What do you guys think? I'm not a veteran, but it looks like they're playing the veteran card real hard and if I was, it would bother me. Does this guy have any accountability to his actions? As far as the DPS officer going after him while off duty, I think that's a good thing. Imagine if all cops stepped up like him. http://www.azfamily.com/story/35955129/family-of-man-killed-in-police-pursuit-seeking-43-million-from-state-gilbert-police

That's a lot of fish. I haven't been in a while, but they used to fillet and bag your fish on the boat on the way back to the docks.

I was planning on posting mine. Nice rifle. They're the best 22 out there. So much so that I feel bad for the younger people. They really have no idea what an accurate 22 bolt action is. These things go for a lot of money but they're worth it.

Tac, That's a Browning SA 22. It's a good semi auto for left handed shooters.

I think it's a Smith and Wesson. Straight Line??? I don't know if that's the name. I remember hearing about it 25 years ago. Single shot Match pistol. It's supposed to be real nice. How did you get it?
