Nice. Convert how? I would be interested in a review. It should be better than most of the ARs out there since it has a 20” barrel. If there are triggers out there it might be nice to drop something in that’s not a 6lb pull. I’m glad to see someone buy something nice. The only thing I hate about H&K is their magazine prices.

I guess I’m in the minority here. I neck size most of my bolt action but full length size levers and semi autos. It seems like I may be wrong with most here full length sizing. Now that I moved back to my home town for the purpose of doing more shooting, I think I will try the full length and see where it goes. I’m not one of those people that are above learning something or claiming I’m right. It’s been about 20 years since I’ve been neck sizing and I know since then, there’s been better and better materials and methods so I will give it a shot. I never had any problems with the neck sizing, I just had to make sure to keep my brass away from others and it will always chamber.

I agree. I hate to be the person that has someone behind me and think what I’m doing is more important than what they’re doing. All I know at the moment is that someone behind me is faster than me, I’ll let them by as a courtesy. I know nothing of their intentions. This is just the way our culture is now. Pretty divided. I remember when it was routine to talk to anyone and everyone that you passed on a two track road. Not to make a new best friend, just to exchange hellos and wish each other luck. Now no one wants to talk or be friendly. We’re too competitive for our own good.

That will happen. At least orange requirements. We will hold out for a while, but our population continues to grow and less land is available to hunt and there will be accidents. With most of the US requiring orange, the first lawsuit against azgfd over someone getting shot/killed will bring on that requirement since most of us sue or pass blame.

I understand why he got rid of it. I had no idea a semi auto sheet metal pistol was that valuable. Those prices are up there with custom shop Ruger, S&W, Colt etc. It would have been nice to have listed it for $2000 obo.

If you decide to replace the cabinets, save the old ones. We did that in the house I’m now living in when we remodeled the kitchen in the late 90s. The left over cabinets and base cabinets went into our workshop and were now our storage and work surfaces if you don’t have a workshop, talk to someone who could use them rather than chitcanning them. I recently remodeled it when I bought the house and painted the old cabinets and bases and relocated them a little. Of course the old cabinets won’t fit like a glove in a space that wasn’t measured out like the kitchen was, but you can get creative with the layout and come up with ideas that complement the old stuff. Look at the pics. I know they’re not the best resolution, but you can get the idea. You can see the old microwave and hood location in its new spot. This are just a few pics I have saved.

One dog story I remember hearing about dogs and turf is when a smart German Shepherd went to its newly installed turf and was just studying it for a while and it couldn’t figure out what it was. The dog ended up finding a corner of the turf and peeled back a little and dug down past all of the underlayment until it reached the native soil and stopped. It’s like it knew it was wrong or at least different than normal grass and had to investigate it. After that, it never messed with it again.

How does that turf handle dog excrement? I guess if it’s in solid form it won’t be a big deal but if it’s a little runny, does it get stinky?
