the hunt went great it was more of a meat hunt for the locals I didn't have a tag but our camp had 3 tags for ANY elk they shot a cow opening day and I couldn't stay any longer due to work but it was a nice getaway got stopped by the ranger every day tho.

If anybody needs a hand on the turkey hunt I was their in Malay gap 2 weeks ago like mentioned we saw too many birds to keep track even found them roosting in a few places..I would be willing to help..

Don't know how to get a tag but I was in Turkey by the hundreds 2 weeks ago on the Rez.

+1 on the razors I had mine out when a spectator pulled out some kaibabs I was able to compare them side by side while watching deer the RAZORS were hands down the better optic but I even have the 10x42 talon hd and they hang around my neck razors i put on the tripod

I drew the archery hunt 4 years ago I was clueless and went in blind ... Saw bucks every day and ended up leaveing with a little 3x2 on the 9 day of the hunt.

Yea it was such a relief to see him up and moveing and it was amazing the amount of strangers willing to help me out in a time of need..I am and will continue to follow this deer every second I have free..

Last night in a metro unit I made a bad shot on a 180" class deer but he was bleeding real real heavy I left him for the night and returned this morning to track him down.. from the amount of blood I have found I believe him to be dead I have a party of four searching as we speak but looking for anybody with a hound or two to help this afternoon like I said above I 99% believe him to be dead...Thank you in advance...

Here is an Update on this deer tonight me and a fellow member hit to the hills.after showing him the blood trail I had a homeowner call me and guide me in to the last spot he saw the deer alive. Well after reaching this point we locaded a heard of does and the buck was still up and we'll he does still have blood on his lower groin section but looks very healthy..this has taken so much stress off my back.. p.s for your response on me not thinking on an ethnical level I never asked for someone to call me beafore dispatching of it I only asked to be informed if the deer was found dead/alive so I can at least see him...if anybody else has a douche comment keep it to yourself..

I'm stuck on a roof working this morning but I'll be their around 2 I already had a call from one of the guys that still considers this buck "on the menu" and he is upset with the amount of attention I have drawn.

I would totally agree with that tjhunt2 if he were back to pushing does or even just walking around semi hurt he is 100% fair game but if he were under a tree mortally wounded or dead that's a diffrent story..

Unfortunately their are no birds in the area otherothen dove/quail but their are tons of coyotes so that is what I will focus on as of rite now....like I said their are also other hunters who think he is wounded and want to finish it themselves kinda a makes me sick to think about it but nothing I can do but find him first

Well I have had allot of great people offer to help a complete stranger however all the effort is slipping away with the rain storm that hit last night I was able to pick up the blood again as he made a bee line straight up the nastiest canyon.I have talked to a homeowner that has pictures of the deer bleeding most bystanders that saw this deer believe him to be dead.Here are some pics of the deer hours before being hit.

Well if anybody on this site has access to any of these bloodhounds in the Tucson area please contact me.
