My 13 year old son and I have drawn the late December hunt in unit 30b, We are planning on hunting from the 26th to the 31st of December. I have hunted Mule deer and White tail deer but this is our first Coues deer hunt. My plan is to hunt the Dragoon mountains, just wondering if this is a good place to start, because I live in Northern Utah next to the Idaho border and due to work schedule and school we haven't been able to get down there to scout. I would appreciate any help on this area. I would be willing to trade information on Mule deer, Elk, Antelope, and midwest White tail. I am not looking for trophy class a Coues deer just a good experience for my son. Feel free to pm me. Thanks for the help.
