Peg, congratulations!!! Amelia has asked me about a dozen times if you ever went on that hunt and shot a turkey. You would be shocked to see how tall she is now!!! I call bogus. I totaled our van with eight people inside on a deer near Gila Bend back in 2010. Mulie doe stepped out of the median at 11:45 pm and stepped right into my lane. That is one less deer, unfortunately. All were safe inside the van. I call bogus on that statistic!!!

Congratulations! Hoping to take my first turkey this weekend. Sounds like you guys had a really awesome time, birds gobbling and chances to fill tags. Cannot ask for more! Hit Woods Canyon on Friday before the major winds hit. Was a BLAST! When the small winds came through, almost everyone packed up and left immediately. It felt like there were only two or three boats on the lake by midday. Missed the storm and snow, fortunately.

Devil Down River, headed up this Friday to Unit 1 also. Never taken a turkey. If you are interested, give me a call and maybe we can hook up and work some birds together. My buddies bailed out on me this past weekend for the upcoming hunt.
