Tried a popular area, and no birds flying. Kicked up about 15 birds roosting in dead trees, but the heat became too much for me. Out by 11:30.

Anybody dove hunt near the Salt River in NE Mesa? I need a place to take the kids (5 and 4) to get their first dove hunt. Live near BassPro and need a place close enough to keep the kids excited, and Florence or Buckeye are just too far. Any hints? Not looking for the greatest secret spots anywhere, just hoping for a place to take the kids close by and pick up a few birds now and then. THANKS!!!!!!

So are you prohibited from even walking down the Bushnell Tanks road? The sign says prohibited entry to everyone. Or is the entry prohibited to motor vehicles? I do not get it. I see people parked there all the time, meaning they must have walked in. What gives?

Any dove hunting available walking that road? Want to take my 5 year old hunting tomorrow for the first time and thought that is the best, closest option available. Thanks!!!

Remington 870 Express Super Magnum, chambers 2 3/4, 3 and 3 1/2 inch shells. Almost brand new. Slight slide wear, but nothing else. One box through the barrel. Excellent condition!!! Lighter shade wood stock, handles very well. This is a fantastic shotgun for all purposes, and dove, duck and goose season is coming up!!!!!!! Saturday is opening day for dove. Nothing like shooting that 3.5 inch magnum load out of this beautiful gun at dove 90 yards away before they get anywhere near the waterhole you are sharing with 75 other people!!! Drop em before they get close, that is the motto with this gun!!! May consider trades for other guns.
