  1. For those wondering, the BIA is a great group of guys that record Arizona trophy animals. (I've compared them to Arizona's version of Pope &Young Club.) They team up each year with the Arizona Bowhunters Association for their banquets.  The hardcover book comes out (I think) every few years and not only posts trophy results but is filled with information about hunting in AZ and good stories.  They will have previous year's books at the banquet. If anyone is interested in entering a trophy for the banquet this year they need to call BIA member Brian Goble right away. (928) 595-0866  The cutoff date is February 28TH.

  9. Hey CWT members, I hope it's ok to post this here. I went to this event last year for the first time and never had so much fun in my life so I joined the group. Better yet, it's a non-profit group that throws everything back to the community and to wildlife conservation.

The Arizona Bowhunter's Association (a non-profit group) is holding their annual Bowhunter Happening 3-D shoot July 19-21 at Mormon Lake. For nearly 40 years this event has become one of the MOST enjoyable family archery shoots for all ages. This year the ABA is planning several new things including 5 new courses in the tall forest pines, an extreme course, multiple moving targets, and metal "blaster" targets. The old favorites will still be there such as Paul Line's Big Bear kids course, the Novelty Long Shot, the Aerial Archery Trap Shoot, and a Saturday night bonfire (subject to rstrictions) where you can bring and cook wild game to share with others.

There will be multiple vendors, raffles (including several nice bows, optics, and accessories), a food truck, and much much more.

Pre- register at www.arizonabowhunters.org and stay updated by following us on Instagram and Facebook

Vendor inquiries can contact Hunter Wall @hunter.wall@cox.net
