So what do u do with them once u kill them?

Awesome info, thank you I always thought about that if I see does sit on the trail. Well hopefully this will be the year you get that coues. All that experience is gonna pay off. I'm just getting started

Did you have to do any crawling once getting close? Also did u spot and wait for him to bed before making the stalk?

I am new to the website but not new to coues hunting. I have been blessed to have gotten a deer the last 4 years using a different gun every time. I keep switching guns and I feel it is time for me now to pick one (for deer) to use consistently and build 100% confidence in that gun. What would be the suggestion (I know we all got our own opinions just curious what most guys seem to go with) a 7mm or .300mag I typically shoot 300-500 yards never over 500, but lately my last 2 deer have been 50-100 yards (fluke?) any suggestions on which gun and what bullet you guys shoot would be much appreciated. My typical method of madness is glassing and getting in range
