I watched one on the mountain between greenway and thunderbird just east of 19th ave.

Anyone know who has the best deal on these? I think I "need" a set of the 12's. I assume Doug is usually the best buy, but figured I would double check.

I dang near threw up one night in North Dakota. The tree was swaying so much that I started to get Sea sickness. haha. Wild ride for sure, but I have complete confidence in them staying on the tree.

I own Yeti, Rtic, Canyon and Orca. They all perform about the same if they are pre cooled. I like the design of the Canyon's, but I think if it came down to longest ice retention, my Rtic would probably win. It seals so dang tight that it is hard to open some times.

I thought I read that they changed "what accepting compensation" meant. They changed the wording to allow people to accept money to help buddies, as long as it was not the "going rate." I will have to look again, but I could swear they changed the verbage to allow guys to give guy's gas money or a form of compensation that was lower than what was the going rate for a guide.

#1 reason... They are super Tacti-cool. They also do a good job of minimizing the heat signature off of them. Its pretty amazing how fast they heat up. A few shots and they are untouchable without a cover or glove.

I wish our Ace hardware in Sun city and Surprise would add hunting to their stores.

My buddy has that parka. I tried it out one morning. That thing is like wearing an OVEN. Great for glassing or still hunting with slow movement. The puffy's are worth their weight in gold. I always have mine thrown in my bag in a small stuff sack.

Bix does a great job on the processing. Having said that, I tried some of his snack stick/ slim jim's and they were some of the worst I have had. The texture was just not right. Kind of seemed like they were not smoked long enough. His processing job was nice and clean tho.

Amazing what a higher quality pack actually does for you. I try and explain it to everyone who owns badlands and eberlesucks. Until you actually take the plunge and try one, you honestly have no clue on the difference in comfort.

Got her done for less than $150. About 45 minutes. Thanks for the replies guys.

Thanks Harley, I may tackle it myself as I am pretty confident it is just a condenser fan motor. Cap tests good and the fan motor has more resistance to spinning than it should. Where is a good place to buy a 1/4hp fan motor here local?

I heard October, November for the Big BFT? Does this sound right?

Just happened to me to at the dealer.. They told me my rear differential needed service because the oil was very dirty. The look on his face when I told him, that is not dirt, that is purple fluid because I just changed it myself 2 weekends ago and put royal purple in it. The back peddling and stuttering was epic. All of a sudden it wasn't dirty today, but it was dirty last time I brought it in to them.

Puffy under a softshell is usually my go to. I love my puffy's, but you have to be careful with them if you are around ANYTHING that will snag them. They are fantastic for sitting and glassing but heck if you start moving. For moving, I like the Kuiu guide jacket or the sitka coldfront. The coldfront will handle anything you throw at it and proved it's worth to me on an Alaska caribou hunt last year. The temps ranged from 40*--- -15ish and it performed great with proper layering. The key to late season comfort in my opinion is layering up properly so you can adapt quickly to moving or sitting.

I would be pissed and would want an extended warranty of some sorts. Like stated above, Document it for sure, but chances are you are ok.

Did this really turn political? Pro union vs. non union? Everyone wants to argue about everything anymore. Trying to convince someone over the internet to be either pro union or anti union is a losing battle. Everyone who works for a living, enjoy your labor day.....
