Some of you guys are too much. Why in the F do you care about a Game warden getting a tag in the unit he patrols? Odds are he might get 2 maybe 3 premium tags in his unit if he has a long career. Extreme jealousy I suppose. They make peanuts for salary, the least they can do is get a good hunt in every so often. 1 guy is not going to ruin your hunt unless you are after 1 animal and 1 animal only and it is also the one he is after......

Water tanks are gonna be a hot commodity for the last part of the hunts. As hard as it may be, stay in your blind even when you hear bugles close. Even if the herd bull doesn't make it in, many times the satellites will. As of yesterday, the bigger bulls still had not taken over the larger herds near Flag.

Charge master double checked by a beam balance either every load or every other. So far my charge master has been really good. Occasional over or under charge, but the scale always tells me.

I've heard this same statement about the 14.7 possibly being bs. Others tried to say it's because the FOV is bigger, so it appears to not have as much power. Imo there is a good jump from El's to NL's. Not earth shattering, but noticeable to me.

They are optically phenomenal imo, but like yote said, not earth shattering better than the 12's. If I didn't have the 12's and had 10's or 8's, I would probably grab a pair. I've seen a few on the secondary market if you really want a pair and don't want to wait.

Any moa rail tends to make getting zero on a scope harder to get at close range. Essentially it angles the scope down and a scope with not enough elevation adjustment will not be able to get a zero at 100 yards. The more MOA you add to the rail, the more likely you are to not be able to get a zero at 100 yards.

You need more moa to zero? It's usually the opposite. Something seems wrong if you can't get a zero at 100 with a 20 moa base and you need more.

Agree, you don't buy because of the 200$ to uncle Sam. That's fine, just don't give the permission argument, it gets old and is often, easily refuted in your day to day. To each their own, you will likely never own a supressor and appreciate their benefits. That's a personal decision you have made.
