Kifaru. Pick up a used one over on Rokslide.com and it will be be the best thing you have ever done for your back. They carry weight very well and are highly customizable to fit YOUR torso, waist, back profile and hunting needs. I used to think my Eberlestock's and badlands were comfortable. After Making the leap to Kifaru, the difference is like going from a cheap pack to a badlands or eberlestock. Some other good higher end companies to check out are EXO and Stone Glacier.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfHtcUZXljw I think Amiri King Sums it up pretty good. J/k but still funny.

Makes more sense. Thanks for clarifying

Huh? Just naming another brass maker. I would take Bertram over Hornady brass...

What is spinning the cases to get a uniform heat? -
If you are looking for true fluid tilt, stay away from the outdoorsman. It is not a true fluid head and does not operate like one either. Go with the 128 or 501 from Manfrotto.

I will say different. I have owned the Jim White, 128, 700rc2, Outdoorsman micro and The outdoorsman. I know only use the 128 on my close to the truck set up and The Outdoorsman on my pack in set up. Of the 5 heads, I thought the 700rc2 was the worst by far. Just my opinion, go to the outdoorsman and compare the heads for yourself. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. I rank. 1. 128 but it's heavy 2.Outdoorsman 3. Jim White 4 Micro pan head 5 700rc2

300 AAC blackout for predator hunting (subsonic)
HuntHarder replied to CatfishKev's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Think he wants to ditch the AR10 build to build a .300 blackout. I own an AR10 in .308, Ar15 rifles in 6.5 grendel and 5.56 and also 2 AR pistols one in 7.62x39 and one in 300 blackout. With the pistol braces on the market, the pistol platform is probably the way I will build my next couple. SBA3 is fantastic and keeps the length of the rifle compact with a suppressor. -
I suggest paying for the BO access and not limiting yourself on where you can and can't go. That would be frustrating.

Remington model 700 BDL 6mm rem rifle
HuntHarder replied to Old&Newhunters's topic in Classified Ads
I say $ 375.00 because that's what he is asking. If you want to offer less, pm him and do it. Nothing worse than guys beating a guy up on his price when they have no interest in buying it. -
You would have to leave your mom's basement in order to get out in the woods.

I have a full seizmik windshield on mine. It is poly and I just assume I will replace it after a couple years. So far I have taken really good care of it and it still looks new. Just have to be mindful when wiping mud off of it. I bought a special cleaner for mine and it works great and does not scratch it. The vents on the seizmik work great. You can adjust them to defrost the windshield and also let in or keep out air. If you close them, the dust will come into the cab at a higher rate. Sure is nice to have a full windshield during the colder months. I may or may not remove it in the summer and go with one of those bug net windshields.

Dang man! I hit a bull 13 years ago that still haunts me. Hit him in the exact same spot similar bull too, 7x7 330-340ish.

Is that a wound high and back on him? 320's thin horned

To Rail or Not to Rail, that is the question?

Must be cold in ND... -
Says that guy with bad luck putting in for premium hunts. Completely disagree. Our draw system is one of the better ones out there and I really see no reason to change it. Having a chance to draw EVERY year is what keeps people coming back. If I had to wait a guaranteed minimum of 10 years for another chance to draw I would probably lose my want to hunt antelope all together in this state. Is it fair for everyone? YES! Are some guys luckier than others? Absolutely. Some guys also put in for hunts that they know they have a better shot of drawing as well.

I have taken 15 or so and also never a tick one. I think the amount of stink is directly related to how shitty the shot is. If the first shot is a good shot, little to no stink. If the animal is alive longer than they should have been after the shot, the amount of stink goes up.

F that. That turnaround sounds miserable. You are dedicated.

Bunch of critters in 22/23. Seeing 20+ deer a day is pretty easy in december. I would concentrate on the high desert areas. Glass, glass, glass. Good luck

Congrats on the pig, but epic failure on shooting the pig before the bobcat.

Do you work in an office?

Was just a matter of time before the power went out with this much snow. Extra crews were on standby up there, so hopefully it gets fixed quickly. Crazy storm, quite a bit of snow out in the 7 springs area as well.

Junk science, anti hunting laws, and pushover hunters
HuntHarder replied to bojangles's topic in The Campfire
I guess you can call it rolling over. I call it adapting to the changing world we live in. Some of the change is good, some is bad. Drawing a hard line in the sand on EVERY issue is why our country is in the mess it is in right now. I personally do not think the 1/4 mile rule is a big deal. I also do not subscribe to the give an inch they'll take a mile approach on every issue. Asking your neighbor for permission to bowhunt within 1/4 mile of their residence is not a big deal.
