I agree with most of that.

Not saying I am in favor of the new law by any stretch. I agree, this state is now purple and slowly transitioning to blue. It is sad to see. I do, however, think something needs to be done and I do not have the answer. Mental health is a very, very tough thing to enact laws to try and curb. Not sure it is possible, but looking at different options never hurts.

Aren't there background checks right now on firearms purchased at FFl's?

I have been scouting for a buddy with the same tag. #'s seem down to me or they are just hiding better in the trees this year. Seen plenty of Mule deer bucks, but lacking on the Antelope. 13 points seems like a lot to burn on this hunt. I would guess the amount of goats killed on the last 5 archery hunts in there are sub 10 total.

The last 10 tags, there was 1 paying client. They killed early. I think 8-9 of the tags participated in Russ's program.

The last cow hunt had above 60% success rate. I heard of 6 taken with a day or so left in the hunt.

Somehow I was labeled a dentist with small hands. Poor guy is confused. Some weird fantasy of the rich I guess.

So many different accounts of how this happened. I read a report that he was taken off of suicide watch the day before he "committed suicide". Like anything else of this magnitude, the truth will never be known. The fact is, this scum bag got off way to easy.

Yeah, not a big cattle fan myself. The rotation in lots of places seems to be entirely too long. I think the 2 can live side by side to an extent. Cattle can, and do decimate areas pretty fast.

Yup. The camo is secondary to the performance of the garment. Prana zions, Eddie bauer guide pants, kuhl renegades are great non- camo bottoms. As far as camo tops go, the Sitka seem to be longer in torso length and fit much better than most of my kuiu. For an Alaska trip in late september, I chose to go with some of the higher end Sitka for the just in case moment of being caught in a storm. The technical aspect of some of their clothing is pretty awesome.

I own quite a bit of camo from all the companies. I personally like the fit and selection better with Sitka.

I wish all Coues were hybrids... It would make chasing coues over carp easier.

Cool topic here. I am heading to Alaska this year and was planning on taking my 4" 44 mag. I am thinking a Glock 29SF or 20SF is in my near future. I have always wanted a 10mm anyway.

The creedmoor is in the AR-10 platform and is a much bigger lower. I have a PSA gen 2 AR-10 in .308 that is right at MOA with gold medal match ammo. I havnt even attempted to reload for it, but I am sure I can squeeze some more out of it. I also have a PSA AR-15 in 6.5 grendal that shoots slightly sub moa with factory ammo. Again, I am sure I can get a little more out of it when I start to reload for it. The big thing on AR's imo is the triggers. I have a Timney in the .308, triggertech in the grendal and la rue in my blackout. They are all great triggers, but I think I lean toward my triggertech. As for the reliability, I own 4 PSA uppers and honestly have never had 1 jam or misfire. I know when the first gen creedmoors came out, they were having some issues, but I think those are ironed out now
