Do yourself a favor and do not use rigid at 6" deep. When/if the pipe corrodes or gets damaged, you will have to run new conduit again to re-pull new wire. Use EMT above ground and transition to schedule 40 PVC underground and bury it at 18" deep.

I had Wilhelm install mine. If I remember right, it was 400$ +/-. I bought the kit from he'll bent steel and upgraded all shocks to Bilstein 5100's. Big improvement on the ride on my 2500

General Purpose/ Back up Rifle
HuntHarder replied to duckhunter175's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I had it going 3220, but it was showing a little sign of pressure and I was going to shoot in a PRS competition that had a MV max of 3200. I backed it down 3140 and the accuracy stayed. My gun shoots the eld-x accurate thru a bunch of different charge weights of 4831sc. -
Talk about an expensive tag..... Their worth it most of the time.

General Purpose/ Back up Rifle

I worked up a great load in my 270 wsm using the 145 eld-x. -
Traeger here as well. Pellet grills might be the best thing invented in the the last little while concerning cooking. It is ALMOST impossible to burn something or get a flame up. I meal prep quite a bit and can throw on 10 chicken thighs and 10 drumsticks and not have to worry about the grill catching fire. I love it.

Depending on how much snow is left up there, it can be pretty challenging. I have done that hunt twice, one year was quick and easy, the other was polar opposite. Most roads had snow too deep to drive on and the birds were not calling. Water holes are always a good option. I prefer to wake up early or stay out after the sun goes down and shock gobble or just listen for birds. I will then concentrate on those areas in the morning and evenings.

Lance- how do you feel Bell and Carlson has slipped up on their QC? I am in need of a new stock here shortly, and I really prefer the BC stock over HS, but if their is serious quality issues, I may reconsider. I had to bed my last BC, but I plan on bedding most guns anyway.

I think Flatlander has a crush on BC777. Seems to always want to try and push his buttons. Mancrush ?

Good call PRDTR, no one on here likes a badass glock. That sure was a big broad brush you just painted all of CWT.com with. I love the gun, just do not have the funds for it. Good luck with the sale, that thing is pretty sweet.

I have piled up a few animals with Berger's, and I have found pieces of jacket seperated from lead. This does not make this a bad bullet. I plan on using the ELD X's this year in another rifle and I am sure if I do my part, the bullet will get the job done. So many "rodeo" stories usually start with a misplaced shot.

Hard to beat Rim country on their prices. Some guys charge $150.00 for Javelina. I think that is crazy for a javelina. Thanks for the heads up on Rim country.

dang! Do you have any pictures of the number 1 ram? That backup ram is awesome.

Similar to Kaibabhunter. We get up early, listen for bugles, determine their direction of travel and get considerably ahead of them. Hike in and chase bugles all morning. Usually return to camp for a quick lunch and back in the field around 12:00 - 1:00pm. I sit water, wallows are travel trails almost every afternoon. Get back to camp around 8:00 - 9:00 pm, eat a quickly prepared meal. We like pasta's with pre-cooked meat that we need to just warm up.

South Carolina has won me some money this year. Their Defense is pretty top notch and has been the key to their success.
