    Hopefully not your cam!

I Encourage all of you to go into your preferences and add Str8 Shot to your ignore list. It is really easy to do, and then you do not have to read his negative, always the devils advocate opinions.

    Optics dilemma

I use both a scope and 10x binos. 15's will never replace your scope. I suggest 12's and a scope. You may only use your scope for 10 minutes a day, but those 10 minutes might save you some miles of hiking to get a closer look. Good luck, and whichever way you go, you will have quality optics.

    Archery Practice Help

Maverick- That is a very odd way of practicing.. Seems counter productive to quit practicing after your first bad shot. Practice is just that, practice. By shooting one shot and stopping, you are not practicing. Muscle memory goes a long way with archery. I correlate it to, (do not laugh), Golf. Practice makes perfect, and shooting until you start to feel fatigued or your form has started to slip will never hurt. I usually stop shooting as soon as I feel any fatigue what so ever. After fatigue has set in, your body will try to overcome it, by adjusting small things; i.e. anchor point, spine angle, stance, and grip to name a few. I say shoot until you start to feel fatigued, and work your way up to shooting more shots each week. I agree with most, that starting with a few close warm up shots, then going to a longer distance that you are comfortable with and starting your practice there. Work your way closer. Good luck!

    Archery in your backyard?

It will depend on the city, best bet is to call your local police and simply ask. I know 5 or so years ago, I was shooting in the huge storm water run off wash in Peoria, and the police came and informed us that it was illegal to shoot down there. They were very cool about it, but I believe they had a statute in Peoria regarding archery in backyards and public places not intended for archery. Make a quick phone call or email, ( so you have it in writing) and shoot without worrying.

    Bighorn sheep tag

Since 2010- 46A and 46B has had 39 hunters, only 1 of those 39 did not shoot a sheep, and the overall average of days hunted is around 7 days per person.

@trophyhunter- I have never sheep hunted this unit.

    Bighorn sheep tag

Sheep hunting is the IMO one of the easiest hunts. Takes additional scouting, but you have 31 days to make it happen when the hunt comes around. If you are shooting for an exact score, that is where a guide makes his pay. A good guide can guess those sheep to the inch on the hoof. If you are looking for a respectable ram, and not an exact score or bust, DIY is no problem.
