I received mine about a week ago and have been putting it thru the paces. This thing is nothing short of awesome, especially for it's size. I have shot rifle, handgun and archery on it and it has recorded every shot with 0 misses or false readings. Set up was easy and the data organizing on the phone app is easy to sort thru. If anyone is looking for a new chrono, I highly recommend getting this new Garmin.

Youth giveaway gofund me started! Sorry folks they shut it down!!
HuntHarder replied to Crazymonkey's topic in Classified Ads
I mean, if guys want to give you money for the giveaway, won't they just get your info and send you money? Why involve Gofundme? One quick suggestion that may help this give away is to give the rifle away sooner. I remember thinking this year, that the timeframe of youth hunts vs. winner's being drawn, left little time to get used to their new rifle. -
I am in the process of building a rifle for my son and I. I am planning on shooting 130's out of a 20" suppressed. Should be a great rifle to get some trigger time behind, as well as a medium game Hammer. Based on a couple buddies that use the 130's, I am going to give H4350 and Varget a go.

Coolest part of that story is his name is Rooster.. -
Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

ALL hunts..... Colorado, Utah, wyoming, North Dakota, Az Otc deer. Opportunity is less and less, cost is more and more.
-
Lots of people... Cost is only a deterrent for some. Ak hunts have Bern sky rocketing for years with little to no slow down. Hunting, in general, has gotten outrageous. Pretty much every out of state hunt I try for, has gone up significantly in cost, but the draw odds or available slots has decreased..

Best year I've personally experienced. Threw my 20 ga. In while scouting and deer hunting and got plenty of action. Birds were holding extremely tight and they were literally everywhere. -
Youth Bow or Muzzleloader or handgun? Please help
HuntHarder replied to gonefishn's topic in Youth Hunters
AR "pistol" or any if those other pistols that shoot rifle distances. Tc, remington 700,. Slap a scope on it, bipod and shoot as far as you need.. -
Thinking 8-9 as well

There are less expensive seats, but these are right in line with where they are currently at. Good luck with the sale. I went to a game last series and it was a riot. FBH!!!!

Lol, it's like all the aging experts, didn't even notice he was a 3x4 and still in velvet. How the heck did they come up with an accurate age?

Or 1 of 10 thousands shot on gun hunts..

Chances are, those are the new model ones, not the older ones.

Would you spend this much on a Benchmade knife?
HuntHarder replied to eddielasvegas's topic in The Campfire
Multi-tool!? I guess with this administration's policies, all you really need is a ball point pen. I have had great luck with BM knives. I used to carry an Adamas auto and now carry an Infidel. I also swap in a spiderco on occasion. -
That milwaukee is trash after a while. That is our supplied headlamp for work. After a couple of recharges, the battery life goes to crap. I used to have to have 3 fully charged, to make it a night. I now use my coast headlamp at work, and it is much better. Whatever you do, get one that recharges and takes cr2 batteries.

Gotta be the record holder for longest posted item for sale on CWT.com.

Easy decision imo. Shoot the rifle, with the most knock down power, he can ACCURATELY shoot. Try out the 06, if he can't handle it, go lighter.

Yup, I'd say this is the most big bulls I have ever seen killed in the first week. Great year to have a tag.

I have owned quite a few and my favorite by a long shot is my Exped. Ultra 7 or Ultra 5 depending on how much R value warmth you want. Klymit's are ultra light weight, but lack in comfort imo.

Kifaru frame and whatever bag suits your needs. I've been using my Stryker XL most lately. 5+ night pack ins to quick day trips, hauls meat fantastic and compresses down to nothing.
