If you hand load and use good lapua or Norma brass it's about $1.30 per round. That's reloading the brass 15 times which is more than doable. It's the initial cost of the brass that's hard to swallow.

I am sure you can build one lighter than 18# but I guantee you aren't going to enjoy shooting it very much. Recoil on this one is very minimal.

Rifle is a Remington 700 PSS chambered in 300 Win Mag with a muzzle brake. Action has been re-bedded and a trigger job performed on the factory Remington trigger. This rifle was built by Red Rock Precision in 2009 and has approximately 80 rounds through it. I have 40 rounds of hand load 168 bergers to go with the rifle. I can ship to your FFL from mine or meet in person within a reasonable distance. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the rifle I am selling it to fund some other projects .
