Seeing as tho I already bought the rail and found a smith to tap and mount it for a reasonable price I decided to go that route. I really really appreciate the offer to borrow one! There are still some good dudes left! Thanks again...

So I need a gunsmith to mount a rail on my kids rem 870 shotgun for his upcoming turkey hunt. I'm doing it so I can put a holographic sight on the gun to aid with aiming. He is only 10 and having a bit of a problem looking down the rib properly. The problem is that the gun isn't tapped and that is what I need done to mount the rail. Who do you all use? I live in the north valley if that helps. I don't care where the smith is located as long as they are in the valley. Thanks in advance.

I saw Craig's response to you on another site. Stick it to them if you can! Maybe get a hold of someone on the Navajo Rez and show them the aggrement you had. Maybe if they saw what kind of BS the outfitter/managers is doing they would get a reality check by the people that actually OWN the land.

I was on one of the hunts and the hunter killed a really good ram! The other ram killed was no slouch either! Really tough hunt! Not a lot of sheep anywhere but there are sheep everywhere....

I know someone that drew a sheep tag because of calls from the dept. I think they do this to limit the amount of calls they make, just guessing.

Money very well spent! Excellent mount! Makes me want to head down to southern Az and get one. Saw a bunch on public land a year ago.

Would you pay to park and to get into a mall to buy clothes?? Why the heck would I want to pay to shop for hunting/fishing trips, gadgets I don't need, boats or RVs that come from local lots around town, If I want to go on a trip I will get references from friends, if I want gear I will go to a store or the Internet, boats and RVs can be shopped around town without paying for the privilege to do so. I wish they would make it like the shot show! THAT is worth going to for sure!

I once watched a 428" bull get shot by a .270 with 140 gr bullet. It died good enough that we cut him up put him in a truck and brought him to camp. Dead is dead and it doesn't take a Mack truck to do it...

So my taxidermist I usually use stopped doing it, so now I need a new one for my sons first piggy he just took on the jr hunt. Who do you guys recommend? Could you post some pics of some mounts you guys have? I would prefer someone in the valley just for convenience. Thanks in advance.

I'm not a tump supporter but everything I read right there^^^^^^, fact or opinion, is why I won't rule him out. No one pulls his strings and this country needs that! We need common sense right and common sense left to fix this mess this country is in...

If you get a good personal history of killing quality animals you can be a guide in Az. Pretty simple.... If you can set up wall tents or pull a trailer you are good to go for camp stuff... Very few outfitters use livestock. Get some quality gear and a work hard for little reward attitude and your golden. Make sure you are doing it for the love of the game cause the money, fame, glory, always goes to the outfitter. I was a guide for over 10 years and was paid better than most, after my best year ever on killing giants, I quit. It became a job and even though I was paid very very well that year, It wasn't enough. I hope you don't love having a family cause if you do you won't for long after being gone all fall..... Just ask anyone that took guiding serious about a divorce.... I think the paperwork is drawn up by the state as soon as the guide license is purchased.. Lol I now hunt for myself and family and a few friends and the love is back and I am having a great time again. Good luck with your decision....

Nope... Boring.. Same old stuff year after year.

With a proper diet it works like a charm. Went from a keg to a six pac the first time I did it. Life got in the way but I'm getting ready to do another cycle of it... The first month of the diet plan is brutal and I always seemed to be hungry. But second month is very doable and third month is "normal" healthy food. I used their guidelines and made my own menu, their menu, while appealing, takes too much time, effort and and lots of shopping. It is tough but if you stick with it and eat right you will get results. Good luck!
