That is cool, someday I will venture out to find a brown Coues' shed. Nothing but elk and carp where I am. --Bill

Made it out yesterday to a area I haven't checked since the Las Conchas Fire. Picked up 8 browns and stopped since I couldn't carry any more (nice problem to have). We will be heading back. --Bill

Here are some of the Sheds I have picked up so far this spring... First of the Spring.... Nice 7... Mickey pointing next to the match... Nice 6 point. Sheds from the First day out. 2 7X7 sets, 1 6X6 set, 1 big single 6, and a Big 6 that matches up a 7 I picked up last year. Mickey resting in the shade on the long hike out. A few days later glassed up this nice 6 at a 1/4 mile... Have to love the Swaro's. The right side was about 50 yards away. The 6X6 set. This past weekend on a long hike I found 9 Elk whites, 8 where burnt so I hung them in trees. Here is a fresh Muley. The match was about 15 feet away. ... The BEST picture of the Spring so far. Plenty of miles still needing to hike, more sheds to come. Thanks for looking, --Bill & Mickey

We just use the 4-wheeler to get from our house to the National Forest, then it's all hiking. We typically hike 8 to 10 miles each trip --Bill

Thanks, Mickey doesn't help much, he is just good company out in the woods. He does enjoy chewing on antlers though. --Bill

I haven't been posting much lately but have been visiting the site. My Son and I have been trying to make the most of our weekends together before his HS Graduation. Here are some of the sheds we picked up this spring. Bill's 1st of the year. 6 point Tines down. Taking a break. Here is a 6 and a 7 but they are not a set, the 6 is a match to the one points down in the snow. Here is the set together. A smaller 6x6 set. Here are the Fresh Browns we picked up so far, hung most of the whites we found up in trees. Been a great spring so far. --Bill
