I know they can be scarce right now…. Anyone have any 209 primers they wanna sell or trade off? Or seen any for sale anywhere? Only ones I see online after hazmat etc were over $100/1000, not willing to pay that! For example I have some core lokt .308(that I’d give a lot of, don’t have a .308 anymore) or hornady precision hunter in 6.5, plus some other ammo I could trade, or I have cash. I’m in tucson.thanks

Im not sure how likely this will be or not….I’m looking for some 2 3/4” 12 gauge shotshell hulls to reload. Of course, I threw all mine out when I moved and now I can’t seem to find them anywhere! Ideally I’d like to find 500, maybe more. I’m in tucson…. thanks!

Sorry, I wasn’t attacking you. Unfortunately I think involuntary years between tags probably isn’t far down the road from draw odds alone. And it’s a shame. We’ve already seen the beginning of the end of our beloved archery deer seasons too. Very, very unfortunate

Why do they need to increase the cap?! Currently, nobody has ANY CLUE how many deer are killed during archery season. The only estimate I’ve seen way WAY over, something like 3600 archery deer killed in Arizona. Which is laughable. Start with mandatory reporting and go from there, at least they could pretend to have an idea what they’re doing

I get what you’re saying, but the opposite is also true when you think about it . I agree not many 300 yard muzzleloaders/ shooters thatre capable at 300…. Problem is that I don’t believe that has any effect on how many people are WILLING to take that 300 yard shot that they shouldn’t . out of range is out of range, and the people willing to take that 300 yard muzzleloader shot are the same people willing to fling arrows at 100 yards or 1000 with their rifle. Few can pull those shots off effectively and ethically, a whole lot more THINK they can. I don’t buy the more wounded animal argument for those reasons, a good hunter knows his effective range for the weapon he’s using, and the conditions,and sticks to it

I’m not trying to be a jerk….. why no crossbows then? Why no air bows?Why bow season at all, regulating what you can use? This is no different.

So you guys would be for crossbows on archery hunts, for baiting deer, for spotlighting, for thermal imaging, for live trail cams? Some regulation in hunting is obviously necessary and a good thing. I’m not against long range muzzleloaders with high power scopes.I don’t think they should be “banned”. I’m just in favor of a primitive ml season. I don’t see why that’s so controversial

Are you bipolar or what?? This is exactly what I just said! I never cried unfair advantage, I just said that I’d be in favor for more primitive ml deer hunts. For the same reasons you just said! and I do hunt with minimal equipment sometimes for the challenge of it, so your drama queen threat of “them” taking gear away means nothing to me, I’d hunt just as much if all I had was an atlatl

That reaction is a bit dramatic…because I’d be in favor of more of a primitive muzzleloader deer season? Other states do it successfully. I’m for the idea of a real traditional muzzleloader season vs 700 yard smokeless ml season. No offense, by your reaction you’re probably one of those guys.
