Aug. hunt, How are you pursuing the grey ghost?
grey curse replied to Elkhunter1's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Hunting this august to scout out a new area. Hopefully be able to find a tree to hang a stand in for December, But maybe lucky enough on the ground that I won't have to. -
Where are you located. Might have a buddy interested

Wow nothing like getting the old blood pumping a week before the big dance. Thanks for sharing

wet- wet- WET= skeeters and gnats
grey curse replied to elkaholic's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
I get a that Thermacel is the best thing since sliced bread but I can't afford to run it 24/4. I'm packing in for the first time in august for four days and was trying to find a sent free bug spray for the nights. Don't want to have to pack in pints of blood as well -

Anyone have suggestions on sent free bug spray or wipes -
John o and pursuit, I feel you are right now that I look back at my decision. That's why I asked if I was in the wrong. I know it does not justify his actions but I should have moved on. At first I just picked up my cam and left. Sad oh well chip happens. I don't know if it was the heat or the long hike out but with every step I just got more angry. Maybe I'll just leave this alone and learn from it. I hate the bs drama anyways. Thanks for all the input guys. And yes leave peoples stuff alone.

Just curious why there are so many showing up for sale in the last few weeks. Was looking at trading in my eberlestock for one or a mystery ranch. Any thoughts?
-
Thanks for the replies guys. The eberlestock packs are bomb proof imo but weigh a ton even empty. And I always have the wants for new gear.

Ended up picking one up on Craigslist. The love /hate relationship has begun. But it is nice to get a good leg and cardio workout in 14 mins. Think I'll be ready by dec 9th to case the big one down. Maybe out run him.

Has anyone had experience with the max trainer. I see there starting to come up on Craigslist for sale. Seems like a great concept but would like some feedback from cw members. Thx

Wow just wow -
Thanks for the reply 208. I'm seriously looking to buy a m5. Think it would be exactly that a love /hate relationship, just what I need with the little time available to work out.

I shoot a 420 grain arrow went through a rib both lungs and another rib. The arrow did not blow threw but did penetrate the other side. Any lighter I worry about penetration but any heavier i have to worry about arrow drop. I.e. Yardage needs to be more exact, there's more gap between the pins. Imo Glad the bull was taken and meat saved. That's more important then antler size.
