Like azlance said not all LEOs have gone through the new active shooter training. I'm curious if this deputy Peterson had. The training I went through does a pretty good job at training you too seek out the threat and engage it or distract it from killing more. But there's also a huge difference between the simunition training rounds and real rounds being fired at you. With that said all LEOs take an oath to protect and serve. I just hope that other LEOs in his situation will be able do what it takes to take out the threat asap.

Definitely should be enough snow in the Flagstaff area for sledding now. I'm headed up to snow bowl in a few days myself. Does anyone know of a good spot to take the kids sledding around Flagstaff?

I wondered how long it would take for excuses to flow. Yea I was about to say the same. ASU foul trouble early in 2nd half was a big factor. But that's the difference between a great team that's used to playing at this level and just a ok team.

Yup same here, I grew up making and playing in tree houses/forts. I loved it and wouldn't have changed the cuts and scrapes that came along with it. I did jump off a tree house and onto a nail sticking up from the ground and put a nasty hole in the bottom of my foot. But Luckily nothing that bad ever happened.

I have the zero deductable windshield replacement through my insurance, which does mean no out of pocket cost for me. I have used Brake Maxx to replace 4 or 5 windshields over the last few years. They used to give $50 gift cards for service at their garage but recently have been giving $100 visa same as cash cards! Always showed up on time and so far i have no complaints on the quality of work.

For the most part not looking great as far as rutting

Area around 3 points still has a few smaller bucks together. One decent 3x3 was scraping but also had 2 other bucks with him and does. One big wide wounded buck(couldn't tell if it was from a shot or fight) was solo. Made a failed stalk on a nice broken buck, his right side was a nice 4 and left side was broken down to a 2.

Yup, ASU just has to face the facts. They are good team this year, but UA is and always will be better!!!

That's a awesome idea, I'll keep that in mind if I ever come across this.

I have been using the 15x56 vultures for a few years now and the clarity in the middle of the FOV is great but the edges are not. I went with those instead of the vipers because of the 56mm objective lens. Only other draw back to the vultures is the weight. I think if you can afford the razors then go that route.

I usually save my ammo and just throw big rocks at their heads or find a big stick.

My opinion, 1/4 mile is extreme. I think 200 yards would be a more reasonable number. Plus, how do they define a water source? A seep? A wash that holds water anytime it rains? Irrigation ditch/line? Water spigot? An area of a wash that may hold water 1/2 the year? A mud puddle? I heard that the law will be for no cams within a quarter mile of a "man made" water sources.

This will be the first time I am going to attempt myself. Looks pretty simple after watching a few you tube videos(famous last words). From the looks of it some wrenches/rachet set and a clamp will get the job done.
