Great build so far Lance! I love your build stories..... Personally I love the Nightforce scopes, but I have only been able to afford 1 so far. I do have several Vortex PST scopes. I really love them. I think they are the best scope in that price range. Plus the warranty Vortex provides is amazing! What realy sold me on them is the etched crosshairs. My eyes love them. I've had issues with other crosshairs becoming blurry or fuzzy. So far I've had zero issue with the PST. Adam -

Trust me, if I had the extra money I would have the 41 mag.

With 3 pts you have a good chance at drawing a couple different Cow hunts. Since you haven't hunted Elk before I would highly recommend taking your kids to one of the Junior camps so you and your kids can learn how to hunt Elk. I also highly recommend helping as many people as possible on Elk hunts so you can start learning how to hunt them. Just because you don't have a tag doesn't mean you can't go Elk hunting! Good Luck!
