it was many years before I was born, I think 1991, but he passed on a couple 8 years olds and ended up shooting a 12 year old, he didn't score much. my dad tells me that he shot this ram because it walked down the hill really slow and it looked like a 100 year old person trying to walk down a steep hill. I recently bought a used ATX 80 HD. It's Awesome! I've looked thru a lot of spotting scopes and not one of them compared to the Swarovski. If you have the money buy a Swarovski. The reason most bird watchers use Kowa is because of the eye relief. Kowa has the best eye relief on the market. Almost 100% of long range competitive shooters use Kowa scopes due to the eye relief. I'm not a fan of the clarity. If you want to come to the East side of the valley we can go glass some sheep so you can see if you like the scope. Adam

I've herd they put Florida strain bass in Roosevelt in the past, but they didn't do well. Hopefully they do well and get HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!

I just read your story again about your bear since you posted it. Such an awesome story. :-) Thanks, It was a very exciting day! Getting a Bear in the Spring can be done, but it takes a lot more work and knowledge of the area's Bear's live in. Bears are much more predictable in the Fall. Find some water, Pears, Oaks and you will generally find some Bears. Don't get frustrated if you dont see any Bears your first couple of times out. They can be difficult to find, but once you figure them out you will start seeing them on a regular basis. Good Luck! Adam

I've had the spring Archery & OTC tag 3 times over the past couple of years. They are really, really, really hard! You have to spend a lot of time in the woods. My advise is to find some good water sources and wait until June. They will start moving a lot more as it gets warmer. I was lucky last year and Killed a small Bear with my Bow, but it was pure LUCK!!!! The Fall is a much better hunt! Adam

I thought Speedy was crazy when I saw him filling up a can with gas and putting in the fire pit. I said "Isn't it going to blow up", Speedy just laughed and said " just watch ". I'm pretty sure I took a few steps back:) I was amazed how well it worked. I will never struggle to get a fire started again. It's the best fire starting method I've ever seen!!!!
