Thank you for clearing up the story. I apolagize for making it sound like it was your fault. I did not intend to blame you. I'm sure your in a very tough spot & you are doing the best you can with what you have. Best of luck!

Why would you throw out someons hide? Than God my Taxidermist is not only a friend, but a class act & would never do this to someone. Horrible story!

Over this past week I was able to get out for some pond jumping. I should have limited each day, but unfortunately I suck at shooting. Some of the ponds are almost impossible to sneak on, because of all the brush. The birds are able to jump up before I'm ready or they are too far by the time I see them. Very frustrating! I keep looking for a Goose, but no luck yet.

Pond Jumping Ducks
Big Browns replied to Big Browns's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
Here's a picture of the two Duck's my son shot last night. He's shot some coots before, but these are his first real Duck's. We don't use any dogs. We usually throw rocks to make waves that push the duck to the shore. We make it a game. It's actually a lot of fun. -

Not sure how many it had, but my son shot one last night that had 2 huge curls. -
I think they are going to work great. They send you 3 stickers. I'm sure it will be a little bit of a pain to get on right, but that's not a big deal. As long as you provide the correct info, it should work great. The sticker still shows MOA on the bottom so you can still make adjustments for different angles or elevations. I've shot my gun a lot in various temps from 50-105. I personally havent seen enought diffference to matter. My gun also shoots the same from 3000-6000 feet. That covers everything I hunt. I'm sure not every gun or load will work this way, but thankfully mine does. I'll let you know as soon as I get them

I've been looking at ordering a custom Turret for my gun. During my search I came across this company. Looks to be a perfect solution for what I want. For only 25 Bucks I can have a custom turret. Great idea! http://customturretsystems.com/

Years ago my Grandpa gave me a Remington model 11 12 ga semi auto shot gun. I used to use it a lot. Years ago I completely disassembled the gun for a good cleaning. I left the parts on my work bench for a few days while I was doing other projects. Well somehow the parts got thrown away. I am missing all the internal parts. I have some extra money and am looking for a parts gun to replace the parts in my gun. If you know of one for sale please let me know. I think it would be cheaper to buy a parts gun over buying the parts seperately. Adam

That's a great idea to have it stand guard on the safe. I may have to steal that idea. -

It's still a Goose! Great job! I'm very jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Yes the turrets accuracy is dependant on several factors. I hunt a few area's that are the same elevation. The best part of the design of these stickers is they still show MOA. This will allow you to use the yardage numbets you supply or you can still use a shooting app for various conditions if needed.

I ordered mine today! It's worth $25 to give it a try.
