#%$*&# Camera thief's strike for the 3rd time
Big Browns posted a topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
After sitting my stand for 3 days and over 43 hours my hunt is now over. I walked into my stand this morning to find that somone had followed me in the night before and stole my camera. I hadn't checked it since last week so I'm sure the big buck I've been watching is on the camer. &*%$. I hate people. The weird part is they stole the camera and one of the salt bricks. I have a sneeky suspicion it's anti hunters, because if it were a hunter why would you steel a half eaten salt block. Especially if you were going to hunt the area. Whoever it was I hate them and I hope they and there familly die a very horribel death. I feel like I have been violated. My self and another friend have put a year's work in this spot. Now it's all for not. I had a buck of a life time comming in on a regular basis, now someone stole the camera and him from me. This is the 3rd camera in less than 2 month's I've had stolen. Does anyone know how I can destroy the salt lick. If I'm not going to hunt it I dont want someone else hunting it either. I was told to poor bleach on it, but I'm affraid that would hurt the Deer. I thought about pooring human hair all over the area, but that's a short term solution. I want to ruin it forever. Anyone got any idea's? Thanks I wish all you guys with camera's out there all the best. I'm done with it. Adam P.S. Here's a final picture of the buck I was trying to get. If any of you guys happen to see this buk's picture please let me know. If someone else kills him it's probably the person who stole my camera -
Alright. I have seen enough. - Im sold.

Thanks guys for the help in trying to get me monivated. I have decided to go out this weekend, but I'm not going back to my salt lick. I just dont have the heart to go back there. I really dont have much excitement to go hunting, but I'm hoping I will feel better once I get back in the woods. I wish all you guys a safe and fun holiday. Thanks again. Maybe the hunting Gods will bless me with a good Deer this weekend. Adam -

I dont want to let them win and I dont want someone else to kill that awesome Buck, but I've now lost all interest in that spot and I will never go near it again. I dont trust the area or the people that are screwing around in the area. It's abvious that someone now know's about the spot and will probably continue to screw with me. I'm going in there very soon to destroy the lick. I hate giving up, but I so emotionaly destroyed about this that I just cant deal with trying to hunt the area. -
&*%$ trail camera thief's strike again

Well I went to check my camera this morning and low and behold it was gone, AGAIN! This is the second camera I've had stolen in 1 month. To add insult to injury. The #$$ hole dumped a huge pile of corn and horse feed 5 feet from where my camera was. Who ever it is, He has balls. I'm planning on going back in there tommorow with as much dog crap and horse crap I can find and dump it all over the area. I cant believe someone would steel a camera and then plan on hunting that same area. What an $%% hole! P.S. The camera was a wildview 2. I used an ink marker to write my name and number all over it. So if any of you guys see this camera please take it down and let me know. The camera was off the Bear Flatt road by the river in 22. I've hunted this area before and never seen anyone in this paticular spot. I thought it was safe, but I was definatly wrong. Be carefull guys. Adam Young 928-595-1554 -

I used to have faith in man kind, but I'm begining to hate humans. The bad thing is I used to love talking to fellow hunters while out in the field, but now I hate talking to people, because one of them could be the hunter who is stealing camera's in the area. I'm really starting to hate people. -

I'm really sorry to hear about your recent loss. I really know how you feel. I think I'm going to start putting a gernade behind my camera. That way when the #@@ hole gets blown up I will then be able to hunt the bear that's eating the left overs. I wish there was some sort of tracking system we could put in the camera's. I would love to knock on the door with 30 of my friends and tell the @## hole to give me the camera back. What fun we would have:) -

Thanks for the idea. I like the idea of ingraving the camera. I'm going to try that. I would love to paint it pink so it would be very identifiable, but it would also be very noticiable. Thanks and good luck with your camera's. Adam -
I was unable to make it to the meeting today. Does anyone know what happend? I'm sure it was like all the others. They listen to us at the meeting and then they go ahead and make a stupid decison that makes no sence.

Mike the problem is I cant actually see the camera in the guys hands. If I could I would post the pics. I dont want to miss blame someone. The first camera was on MT Ord in between the two springs neer the first right turn and this one was in another area. I'm so tired of working everyday to make a living and to only have some jerk not only steel my camer, but take the fun away from this amazing sport. -
Well I have a really nice Buck comming into my salt lick. So needless to say I will be spending every chance I get in the stand. My question is what do you guys feel is esential to have in the stand with you. I'm planning on taking several books, food, water, a small video game, scent spray, and I'm probably going to load some books on tape on an IPOD. What do you guys do about having to go to the bath room? I know it's not everyone's favorite subject, but it's very important. Thanks.

I was planning on just having one ear plug in my left ear that way I can still here, and I can still draw my bow back if need be. -

Here's another view -
Well I put a brand new Camera up last weekend. I went to check it today and It's gone. I'm pissed, but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I got a picturew of them. I had 2 camera's at the same spring to get photo's of different trails. I'm not going to post a pic of the person, but I will be there opening morning to settle the score. I know you guys want to see them, but I want to settle this personally. I cant believe a fellow hunter would steel another hunter's camera. What a $%&* Head.

Just wondering if any of you guys have seen any Antelope in 18b lately. I'm helping a friend in the area who has an archery tag. I've only been in the area one time and dont really know whare to look. If any of you could help point us in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Plus Larry is to LAZY to go scouting. LOL HA HA HA
-
That's probably where he's going to hunt, but he want's to atliest check out 18b before he commits to 10. We have both herd of nice bucks comming from 18 in the past, so I think it's worth a day's drive. If you guys have any idea's on 10 I'm sure he would appreciate it. Sorry for the e-scouting, but I dont have to much time to help him and I dont know of a better bunch of guy's to ask. I'm not asking for any secrets, just a push in the right direction. Thanks again.

To bad you killed in January. I cant wait to stick him. Wish us luck guys! It must be karma. Sunday I got my new camera stolen and today I get pic's of a nice buck. Yepeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Yes there are Coues in 20c. I saw several north west of Yarnell. I only saw 1 Buck, but I saw several does. The Bradshaw's actually have a pretty good Coues population. A friend killed a nice 8 point last year. Good luck.

Your a lucky SOB. Horn Grinch!

Well I checked my salt lick last weekend and it's getting hammerd. Therefore I put a camera on it today. I tried putting a camera on it last August, but the camera stopped working after 2 days. Hopefully I get some good pictures, even better a monster coues buck. I cant wait for Fall. Anyone else starting to scout yet?

Dont worry I respect everyone's opinion's on this site, even though I do disagre with you. I've compared my brunton's with the Nikon Monarch's in the field. My Brunton's were way better. The Brunton's were able to sustain the light out side for longer period's of time as well. I'm not saying the Nikon's arent good, because they are. I just feel the Brunton's are better. I would still go with the Swar. , but if you dont have the money atliest try out several pairs of bino's before deciding. Please dont take offense, it's just my 2 cents.

Welcome to CWT. If you can afford the Swarovski's do it. If you can't you should consider the Brunton Eternia 15x51's. I have the Eternia 11x45 and the 15x51. They are great. I can free hand the Brunton's easier than I can the Swarovski's. They aren't as bright as the Swarovski's, but for the price you cant beat them. best of luck.
