Yes, the best thing you can do to prevent velvet from spoiling is getting it frozen!

Be VERY careful using Velvetlok. It does not work well for early season Velvet antlers!!!! Especially the large antlers with bulby tips. Feel free to call me and I'll be happy to tell you how to do it yourself using a better product.
