Honestly without proper signs or road blocks it's almost impossible to stop people from driving them. To be honest, it I drove into 7 East to hunt I would have no idea any roads would be closed. I would never think to look up the areas road closures, because that's not a normal thing to do. Plus in most areas if a road is closed to vehicles it's marked, therefore I wouldn't think to look. I know it sucks, but I feel the blame is on the Forest Service and not the hunters. That is of course if they truly didn't know.

Definitely a little cooler today. I've always thought the storms played a larger roll in forcing the birds south. Thankfully I don't think any more storms are going to hit the valley between now and Saturday.

I 100% agree with Lance! All shooters should do their best to get the best accuracy out of their weapon of choice. Once the accuracy has been determined the max effective range must be determined. Without superb accuracy long shots should NOT be taken. 400 yards may no longer be considered long, but I assure you a lot can go wrong at 400 yards.

I think it's funny that a lot of people want to blame Social Media or Podcasts for destroying or identifying particular locations that may have not been identified previously. There is no doubt that Social Media, Internet and Podcasts have shined a huge light on particular units and at times direct locations. I think most people forget that these same media sources have also made myself and numerous others more aware of public land issues, better ways of hunting, new and better equipment, road closures, fires, etc.... With all the positives there will definately be some negatives, but I feel the positives 100% outweigh the negatives!
