Yes, the best thing you can do to prevent velvet from spoiling is getting it frozen!

Be VERY careful using Velvetlok. It does not work well for early season Velvet antlers!!!! Especially the large antlers with bulby tips. Feel free to call me and I'll be happy to tell you how to do it yourself using a better product.

I like to freeze 1 gallon water bottles and wrap the hide around them. I then place them in a game bag and place them in a cooler ABOVE the water line. DO NOT let the hide get wet!!!!!

Friendly reminder. Good luck to everyone tomorrow!

My wife and I just got back from a Spectacular fishing trip with Jim's fishing on Mohave lake. We both caught our personal best Striper. We were extremely fortunate to bring 12 fish to the boat in about 6 hours of fishing. If anyone is looking for a fun fishing trip, I HIGHLY recommend giving Jim a call. 928-245-3487

I'm looking for a used conex box. Just wondering if any CW members have any for sale.

Yes I do.

Freeze drying is absolutely the best method! I typically only freeze dry the larger trophy type velvet antlers due to the cost. I usually preserve the smaller velvet antlers myself.

I would like to purchase a Landowner permit for New Mexico Antelope. I'm struggling finding anything under $2000. If anyone has a ranch contact for a permit please send me a message. Thx, Adam
