I like the byu shirt... And nice bulls
-
I drew a late rifle bull tag in 6a after years of waiting. I have extensive experience in 6a but not late season. I hunt the northern half, will there be road closures with the snow? Also what do the Bulls do this late up there? I've had this tag further south in 5b and we glassed steep hills in the day to catch them bedding, then sat meadows in the morning and evening. Worked out fine with 3/5 hunters killing Bulls. But that was in 5bs and it's generally warmer and dryer than 6a north. Will snow screw the hunt? I do have spots further south if that's the case. Any advice I can get ill take as id love to get another bull! Not looking for spots, I have that part 100% down, just looking for strategy and road closure. Thanks -Dallin

Rage is probably the highest marketed and sold broadhead at this time. Is it all a sales pitch? Or are they decent? I've heard horror stories of the things completely failing and then stories of great success. Opinions?

6x7 cow, weak fronts, strong beams, maybe 417" just south of the tornado path. Do I win?
-
Well at the time it seemed like a good prospect. My dad and I up to then had only shot cows. If I could go back and do it again I would. But having already done it would I do it again? Probably not. We had to just look at a few 350 bulls walk by. We were looking for a hunt with solid success and lots of rutting with opportunity at a 300+ bull and that's what we got. I am not one for guided hunting though, I prefer diy hunting 100-1 however having not drawn a tag and looking into many hunts last year, it was the one that caught my eye the most and I'm glad it did it got me my first bull

Yeah tons of animals in there! And yeah 6k get you everything you could really need including a guide. We figured it was reasonably priced in comparison to similar hunts. I'm guessing that was a management bull hunt? I was under the impression that the trophy bull hunts were well into the teens? Yep you guys got it. Management bull hunt is 6k. The trophy ones are 12.5k, however we were very pleased with the Bulls we were able to take under management guidelines. Any MATURE bull that is a 6x5 and below can be taken. Mine scored at 312

Oh and if you choose to go there, be prepared, 11000 feet was the lowest elevation we hunted

Where are good places to photo elk in summer? Do you have any favored units for photography?
-
Williams but that's just me and my preference for pine

Smh... Blue and white all the way

My uncle has this tag as well, I'll be guiding it. I won't tell you our honey holes (we will be in them) but will give you some great areas i don't hunt in if you want. I know 6a better than I know my backyard. Pm me with questions

The new tundra 1794's are the nicest trucks ever made. You have to jack it up with rims to seal the deal though. Getting one for my 18th bday and trading in my dodge

Yes!!!!! My conspiracy proved true!!! I had a 4 year draw streak until the online draw system came out!!!! Haven't drawn since!! Well this year, I decided the online system gave bad mojo to me so I put in with paper again, and bingo, 6a late rifle bull here I come!!!!!!! Also my uncles drew 6a early archery and unit 1 early archery!!! Going to be a great year!!!!
