That's terrible. Last year in the same unit I accidentally left my Colt Defender under my pillow on my cot in my Alaknak tent. Discovered it about 3 hrs into the hunt and was worried sick the rest of the day till we came back in camp after dark. Was so glad it was still there and really beat myself up over that the rest of the hunt.

A good friend shot a coues buck one year only to discover he had forgot his knife. So he grabbed the 7mm shell he shot it with and crushed it flat with two big stones then proceeded to sharpen it with same. Said it got the job done but now carries extra knives.

I bought my 12x20 Alaknak at my local Cabelas bargain cave for $500 ---- brand new, the box had a tear in it. Nothing wrong with the tent at all. A few weeks later they put the vestibule out for $75 I think I got a deal.

I forgot to add that while there last year we snuck up to about 45 yds of a really nice Muley at the base of horse knoll. He didn't seem to care if we were there or not. And he was probably in the neighborhood of 145-150iah inches. This was during elk rifle season.

Wonder if permethrin 10 would help.
