I forgot to add that while there last year we snuck up to about 45 yds of a really nice Muley at the base of horse knoll. He didn't seem to care if we were there or not. And he was probably in the neighborhood of 145-150iah inches. This was during elk rifle season.

I put a Leupold 3.5-10x40 on mine with a CDS turret that for one rotation goes to 350ish 375ish iirc. Have shot it at 300 at. 10"x10" steel plate and have no issues with consistent hits.

Horse knoll you can see forever but the road to get there can be "fun"

Whys that?2 reasons. I really enjoy my hearing and don't wear earplugs while hunting and I don't need a super magnum elephant rifle to kill a 100 lb deer.

Not only that, what's going to get your attention most, a dog with floppy ears or one staring you down with his ears up. I also remember doing this to my dog about 25 years ago. And yes your dog don't look happy. Lol

I don't believe you were trying to mislead anybody, I have several McMillan stocks and it looked like molded in colors that's why I questioned. Good luck with your sale it's priced right either way.

Since when is an edge stock have molded in colors? Thought they came black had to be painted.

I really like your gun so don't take this next bit of criticism the wrong way. The fluting on the bolt and barrel has to be going the same direction for me, don't like the look of it going two different ways. But like I said, I really like the gun. 👍🏼 -
