I've got enough points for a decent tag but if I hold out for two more BP's I can have an even better tag, shouldn't be too hard I have enough points for an elk tag next year than try for my deer the following. I'm good.

Lol, I applied too for bonus points only because my son drew an elk tag and we are going to Hawaii a few weeks before his hunt = to many irons in the fire.

I got a text alert from my "point hunter" app stating it was available but when I checked AZGFD website it still wasn't but now it is, too cool

There's plenty of water tanks in 2b southern zone.

Up north it's checkerboarded but down south it's quite open. My son had the same exact hunt last year but unfortunately all we saw was Bulls. < kinda crazy huh?

Don't know if huntgpsmaps is the same as onyx maps but I've got the onyx maps and they are awesome. They give you the names of landowners so if needed you can look them up for permission if you need to access their land. Mines a SD card that pops into my Garmin.

What i mean is sometimes it's really hard to just pack up and drive 1800 miles for an hunters safety course when your working to save money so you can do it on the fall.

Really is hard on us out of staters.......
