Do you agree with G&F forcing kids to take Hunter Safety???
Titanium700 replied to Big Browns's topic in Youth Hunters
My son took it before he was able to hunt coues in az, he was 10 at the time and passed it with a 98% grade. i went over and over it with him till he was proficient with it. hey he had to pass as he was already drawn for the tag. -

AZGF gift card-not fair for Jr hunters
Titanium700 replied to Shooter McGavin's topic in The Campfire
To think someone actually has a chance at that 1 $500 gift card is a Laffing matter. I'd not sweat the small things and worry more about my kid/s getting a tag instead. -
Stabilizer? How do you know what works best for your set up?
Titanium700 replied to apache12's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
At the distances i shoot (35-40yds) on deer i dont use a stabalizer, on game where i hunt i don't see the need. for target shooting or long distance shooting yes i do see their benefits. -
We shoot a 10"x10" steel plate at 300 with it. on game im not sure? Maybe?

Ive got a little bit of experience with this round. a friend has an AR-15 in this and i reload it for him, we have been using 240 grain smk's and getting them subsonic along with the can all you hear is the firing pin hit then the bullet impacting its target along with the action cycling and case hitting the ground. while a pretty anemic cartridge i would feel comfortable shooting a deer with it around 50 yds. its great for getting peoples attention at the range...

Flatlander, don't overlook Budsguns. I've had very good luck with them with absolutely zero issues and I think their prices are right too. -
my buck turned into a decal
Titanium700 replied to hunter1026's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Does it have to be a skull mount? I was thinking of my bull in my avatar, only a different angle. -

What dse said, you can get parts everywhere for Remington. second choice though would be a Ruger American compact. -
That's an awesome idea.

Also drawing back a higher poundage bow might be easy on targets but when your adrenalin is flowing and a big bull is in front if you you might decide then and there you hate those higher poundage bows. I've seen people not able to draw their bow back when normally it's a piece of cake for them...even happened to me once on a large whitetail when I was younger....it weren't fun I tell you.

My son got his yesterday. Indiana.

And my sons tag came in today, in the safe it goes under his stuff marked "Arizona hunting"

I always put my tags in my safe with all my hunting info. It is seperated into states making it easier to keep track of.
