I had the 3b muzzy hunt back in 2018 We saw tons of bulls and I passed on several 320-330”ers i also passed on a monster 5x5 that I regret after all was said and done. last day we were on a monster 6x7 and time was ticking down. Got to just a few minutes before legal light ended and a 4x raghorn comes to within 75 yds, the big bull was screaming about 200 yds away and wasn’t coming my way, so I shot the raghorn. only thing I regret on that hunt was the huge 5x5 I passed mid hunt.

If we’ve gone this far, why do I need a tag to hunt? lol

That’s asking too much but sure would be awesome.

Ok. but how does it work when the hunts I applied for has only one non res tag? wouldn’t the max point holders take that tag and I wouldn’t get anything?

Well I’ll say this. I got an antelope tag. im a non res and had 20 bps. I swung for the fences on the hard to draw trophy tags because I knew my daughter would draw an elk tag. I can’t explain how I got a tag because I don’t think I should’ve got a tag with less than 30 points.

That stinks when your trying to get a tag but when your in the field and hunting that’s a good thing when they leave.

I believe we just got an elk and a pronghorn tag in our household.

Probably will be tomorrow too…..

What don’t understand is on my card I can see immediately if I got a hit. my father in law on the other hand it’s been something like 5 days later before he sees a charge. it’s happened twice in a row for him. but maybe it’s another party’s card got declined? I don’t know. 🤷🏼

Shoot I’m a non res. I’ve got 23 points and the hunt I want 5 yrs ago I could have but now looks like another 3-4 years before I can draw. I’m kinda in the same boat……chasing the point creep.

Put in on seperate apps same draw numbers for the off chance you both draw.

Stay away from those Scythe Ti’s unless you like sending the suppressor back to the manufacturer everytime you shoot it.

Oh boy. if you can get an original OEM stick with it. I’ve done the el cheapo carbs off Amazon and eBay. I think in the last 2 years I’m on carburetor no. 5 right now… regrets….

Well. This is the reason I’ve asked the question and guys like you all have better knowledge than me. so as of now I think I’ll just be trying other units and keep building points. thanks guys.
