Sorry if I offended your profession. Do you think the majority of the people running hundreds of cams are guides or non guides? Insta posts of hundreds of cams are not helping. How many non guides are running this many cams? I think we can agree guides are the worst offenders.

I've had the Arlo, and Costco brand systems. Now I have Reolink. Much better for the price. Id suggest hard wiring the system, it's the best system long term. 24/7 recording even if the internet goes out. I'm recording at 1440P which is excellent clarity. My Arlo was worse than a cheap trail cam. I suggest Abode for a whole house alarm system, excellent product. https://reolink.com/product/rlk8-810b4-a/ https://goabode.com

Ban guides=problem solved

From their decision it seems the majority wanted no more regulation. If I remember right there was only one person who spoke for regulation in the meeting. If they honestly think people checking cameras keep game from getting water they would ban sitting water on a hunt as well. The whole state would follow the Boquillas rules.

Leave the cameras alone. The public spoke last time, why are they not listening?

CouesFanatic replied to Outdoor Writer's topic in Elk Hunting
Nothing will change minus what's on that form for next year. https://azgfd-portal-wordpress-pantheon.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/archive/F-17-Memo-ACTION-Amendment-to-Commission-Orders-4-elk-and-26-PMH-2021-hunts.pdf -
Anyone headed out for the hunt tomorrow? I've spent a good amount of time in 33 and we rarely see javelina. Thinking about checking lower elevations.

The mountain has been more than hit. It's been WW3 down there for weeks. -

Everything is already open besides designated trails -
Listen to Jay Scott podcast with Duwayne Adams that just came out. 22 road is closed which could severely impact your hunt.

Did he throw a rock at the end? Almost looks like it.

We use the Slumberjack tough cot with either a 4 inch foam pad or a Teton cot pad. Been happy.

If you got a plate number report it as hunter harassment. I can't see a plate in the pic though

What does keeping the trails closed accomplish? -

Complete BS they keep this closed. That fire has been out for months. It rained on it several times since then very hard. 475 tags pushed into 1/3-1/4 of the unit. Sounds like a fun time.... -

Anyone have a Garmin Alpha with collar they are looking to sell?
-
Just getting a lab off leash in town and in the mountains. Not any serious hunting work.

That is a good point, thanks

Thanks. From what I have seen the Astro has no capability for dog correcting. The Pro 550 has corrections but only a 1 mile tracking capability with no map. They are cheaper though. Please correct me if I'm wrong on these. No response from Offerup people as usual.

Thank you

Thanks. What type of scam? Why these specifically?
