Just bought some Oakley Fuel Cells and Costa Rafael. Kept the Costa's and sent the Oakleys back. I went to the lake with both and the Costas were much better on water.

We should more more worried about the feral burros and horses than the buffalo.

My 7 year old son has been fishing with me quite a bit recently. He has gotten pretty good at casting but the pole and reel he is using doesn't cast very far. We are planning a river trip where he needs to cast out a little further. Any recommendations on what to buy? Picked up a Zebco 33 mini. Put it on the pole. The reel came with Cajun 4 pound test line. Do you think that will be heavy enough?

I have caught some good cats at veterans oasis. They all are slow fishing.

There is very little elk on the Kaibab and even less on the strip. Like 40-50 elk total in 12a, 12b, 13a and 13b combined. I would imagine it would be a very tough hunt. If you are looking for an excuse to get outdoors then go for it, consider it a quasi camping trip. It's only like what 35 bucks? If you plan on hunting deer up there this year, get the elk tag.

I think its a typo. They have it marked as 25 less tags than last year. Last year that was an antlerless hunt.

I got a picture 4 days ago on my trail cam of a great looking bobcat. I want to go back in the area and try to call him in. What is the likelihood that he will be in the same area? It's on a game trail fairly high on a hillside. Some brush in the draws below that I figure would be good country for him. The north facing hillside is cedar. Thanks
