Towing Question for Toyota Tacoma owner

I have a 2019 DCSB auto. Pulling a 4 seater ranger on flat ground I get 9mpg. It will do it, but it won't do it well. I tow a small trailer with a quad and it pulls that like nothing is there. If you don't tow much you will really like the truck. A tune works well to get rid of weird shifting issues.

Was this the buffalo incident everone was talking about

It's been a problem for years, hopefully the G&F can do something to resolve it. Until then I will keep putting in for Raymond instead. 3 guides in a small area who all think they own spots mixed with DIY guys is a recipe for disaster. Proof here that the issue wasn't cameras, it's the guides.

    Muely or Coues

trophyhunter's assessment of frequency I agree with, however, I'd take the Coues.

otc changes--> increase in trophy quality?

Cutting out a few hunts will always increase trophy quality. More bucks get older.

how do these otc archery outfitters do it?

Private land and locked public. Hunting harder than most and being out there more often.

    Archery OTC Hunt Guidelines Webcast

Threshold would be terrible. I can see each unit closing in December before the rut even kicks in. We wouldn't even make it to hunt the actual good rutting. I'm guessing they will leave it as is, but at this point I'd rather see the draw. I'd love to hunt all of January with limited tag holders.

    Youth hunt velvet

Saw 18 bucks over the weekend. One had full velvet, the rest were mostly hard horned. Would love to get a velvet one like the one above. Congrats

    Youth hunt velvet

Last weekend about 1 out of 10 were in velvet. I'm guessing by Friday most all of them will be rubbed.

    Doe hunts????

Missedagain is correct. The Game and fish is chosing to sell a lot of tags which creates a low deer density because it gives them more revenue. They do make wise choices at times when certain fires or other things cause severe issues. I think you are missing the point that the game and fish feels the numbers are fine due to the revenue gained from tag levels. More deer and less money is not what they are seeking. Everyone loves finding a buck or bull with tons of mass and long points. The older I get the more I care about actually going and not sitting at home or work. Seeing elk hunts that used to be drawn every 3-4 years that are now every 10-12 years just sucks. In 10 years those hunts will take 18-20 years to draw. The OTC hunts are disappearing. Leftover tags will be gone in a year or two. The future in Arizona is going to be less and less opportunity for everyone due to human population growth. I'd rather see habitat improvement especially water encatchment work. More prime habitat=more deer as long as we don't kill them all. The issue we have going forward is a limited resource for a quickly growing human population. Trophy quality is the last thing on the Game and Fish's mind.

    Doe hunts????

We don't have the population to worry about balancing out the ratio. We have a not enough deer per mile problem, thus the kickback from people about killing does. Places like the eastern US where whitetails are like cockroaches need some ratio balancing. All ratio balancing would do here is decrease our low population even further.

    Point guard plus

It should happen between 10-12. Looks like its 2 items before the noon break. Maybe this is their fix to the point sharing issues
