    Question about Pop-Up campers

FWIW I owned a pop up for a few years. I think pop-ups are great for spring and early season hunts. Not much insulation and the winds can whip completely around the bed. Canvas on them seems to be on the thinner side. A Kodiak tent with a buddy heater or a big buddy heater hooked up to a bulk tank is money in my opinion. The hot set-up would be a Jumping Jack trailer but they seem way over-priced for me.

    Bye Bye Dish Network!!

I have had Directv for some time now. The prices are good during the first 12 months, then they start to creep back up. My trick, every 2 years I cancel and then sign up under my wifes name. Take advantage of the costco/directv $300 gift card!!

1999 Dodge Cummins 4x4 with bad tranny

How do you know its a 53 block by just looking? With 240k its definitely had a vp44 or two installed. There only 1k. Fred Swanson is the bomb transmission builder out of Waddell. Fully built, triple disk torque converter, with all the goodies for a great price and a 3 year warranty. As long as the motor hasn't been molested that has a lot of potential.

Arctic Cat 400 FIS 4X4 ATV

Kicking around the idea of selling my quad. Haven't ridden it in over a year. I have a lot of time and money in it. This thing in low gear will climb anything in front of it. It is has the manual transmission just kick the gear up or down no clutch. I like this for climbing and descending steep hills. Has the pull cord back-up in case battery dies. Methodically maintained by myself. 2003 Arctic Cat 400 4X4 FIS HID Headlights Larger than stock battery Gun/Bow/Fishing pole holder New rear right side tire (all others have huge amount of tread left) 26x10x12 front tires, 26x12x12 rear tires Rick the rocket shock bushings and steerlites on the A-Arms Hand guards After market front and rear bumpers Exhaust baffles have been drilled and exit pipe enlarged Carb is jetted perfectly for 6k-8k ft. Rear seat/storage boxes along with rear fender guards and pegs to ride 2-up Aprox. 500 miles ago replaced Tie rod ends wheel bearings CV boots and repacked axles diff fluid I have it listed high on Craigslist and have had the usually low ballers and tire kickers. Im looking for $2750. If I cant get that or close it will stay in the garage. Message me with any questions. Thanks

  12. Hey guys I thought I would share my story with everyone. In April this year I put my foot down and decided to change my ways. I didn't consider myself over weight or out of shape but wanted to drop a few lbs. and get some cardio in. I joined a group called Potentail Realized Training in the East valley https://www.facebook.com/potentialrealizedtraining. Neal who runs the places happens to be a friend from high school. The first workout was an eye opener. I could not even keep up with the women in the class and for the first time felt whats its like to almost pass out from overexertion. From that day forward I knew it was time to change. After 2 weeks of working out I felt better but saw no change in weight. The group is into Isagenix a nutrition program. I decided to do a 30 day cleanse along with these workouts. Well 30 days later and 24.75lbs I more than doubled my goal. Now this was no cake walk but let me say this life is so much easier now. I now can keep up and sometimes pass the guys that have been doing this for a year or more. I took a few weeks break and a vacation. As soon as I came back I did a 9 day cleanse and got right back to working out. I maxed at 27.5lbs. and over 24" lost. I had no idea I had that much fat to lose. I have since continued to workout 2-5 times a week with this group depending on my schedule. The classes are awesome, the people there are even better. There's no big gym thing going on. People of all shapes and sizes seeking the same goal. If anyone is interested in some crossfit/interval training with an amazing coach look this place up and join. I believe he is offering a free week right now at his new place. It's located at NW corner of Higley and Chandler Heights. I can say with pride this year no hills will be stopping me. Good luck to all of you seeking a healthier way of life.

    First Time Smokin'

Dont sweat the temp so much. Ive cooked ribs at a perfect 225* with the same results as ribs at 300*. Its more about flavor(seasoning/wood smoke) and pulling them at the correct time. I also use the 2-2-1 method for my ribs.

    BEST UTV TIRES?

I still have stock tire on my SXS but I have a set of GBC Dirt Devil II on my quad. They have close to 2000 miles on them and are barely half worn. Make sure you go with a 26" tire or larger. Tread depth from the factory goes from 20/32'' on a 25" to 39/32" on a 26" tire. After this season I will be buying a set for my Teryx hands down

    A Bowhunter's Worst Nightmare...

Have your Dr. fill out the crossbow permit. Mine told me he would sign it no problem. I had a torn labrum repaired last year and wasnt sure if I would be ready by September, surgery in April. Had a co-worker who went through major shoulder repair, same Dr. as me. Dr signed the papers on Monday following week G&F had mailed his crossbow permit. Have it just incase you cant pull your bow back, you can always use your bow if you are ready.

  20. Hey guys i'm in the market for a new toy. Cant decide between the Teryx/Rhino or a nice trail rig. Definitely need 3 passenger seating. Love the Teryx/Rhino stuff. It would be the easiest, quickest way to get going. Downside is the 8-10k price tag. Other option buy jeep or samurai cheap and have a ton of cash to build it to my needs. Im no stranger to a wrench. Done my share of time under the hood, so I would pretty much do everything myself. Downside is time to get it up to my off-road standards. I need some thoughts and opinions from both sides of the fence. Seems like everyday I change my mind. Thanks
  21. azhuntnut what didnt you like about the samurai? They look good tricked out but I bet its a bouncy ride. http://s989.photobucket.com/user/jrmartin1979/media/DSC01440.jpg.html oz31p I own a 2003 arctic cat 400 4x4 that I have modified a little. I love it, never let me down, can climb anything. Probably be going for sale on here shortly. This vehicle will be a trailer queen, no need to worry about beating it up and getting home. Maybe a mid to late 80's toyota 4x4 w/ flat bed??? http://s107.photobucket.com/user/toyotadad/media/005.jpg.html

1990 jeep cherokee **one of a kind**

Nice jeep. I was actually looking at this ad a week or two ago on craigslist. Still debating the whole side by side vs jeep/trail rig/ Suzuki samurai.
