I think it took me 6 years to draw that 27 tag and only came home with a bear. The 27/28 has a 98% draw odd. UNit 27 mule deer has a much lower draw odds than whitetail. I have drawn many unit 27 whitetail tags in the last ten years. Easy peezy. From the late 1970's until the late 1990's I never had a problem getting a Unit 27 mule deer tag. It all went downhill form there.

The Fed's will waste millions of dollars on a Grizzly project over a span of time before they realize it was a bad idea. Even though someone told them up front it was a bad idea. Fed's love bad ideas. No matter where a bear is released, they are going to travel to the areas where the food supply is best, and where they feel comfortable. Do they want to spend a hot summer down on the Blue, or up on the rim where it's cooler, with all the human's?

I have always been for the reintroduction of the Grizzly. The enviro-whackos will look for any back door approach to keep us off the Grzzly range. The encroachment of humans was the end of the Grizzly. I just don't think it would work.

I don't mind waiting for results. It's like the foreplay of the hunting season.

I saw something similar in Unit 27 during an elk hunt in 2009. It came out of a hollow log and looked at me.
