Many years ago I was hunting mule deer in Unit 27 with my Dad. We were a couple miles from camp in the bottom of a big canyon. We found a nice place to sit down and eat our lunch. As we were sitting there eating and talking, two decent bucks had jumped up about 75 yards away and were hauling butt down the canyon. We scrambled for our rifles and opened fire the best we could, as the brush was thick and the deer were moving fast. After searching the area for awhile, we found no sign that we had hit either of the deer, so we finished our lunch and moved on to look around some more. Good Times!

1500 miles is not much. I have about 1800 on mine and a couple hundred hours I think. Still in great shape. -

I personally like Polaris. I bought a new Sportsman 450 in 2006. I do wish I would have gone with the 500 fuel injected. Fuel injection will automatically adjust for altitude changes. I installed a dial-a-jet on mine which makes for easy fuel adjustments at altitude. I also like the Polaris because its big and comfortable. Take care of them and they will last. The Poalris is a AWD - All wheel drive, and not a full time 4x4. The front drive only engages when the rear wheels start to spin when it is in AWD Mode. I put 14" rims and 27"Tires on it, and have almost a foot of ground clearance, but your really have to change the clutch to a different size if you switch from stock tires to a larger size tire. -

Awesome! I love fishing at Lee's Ferry when I get the chance.

I kinda figured the Cats would lose the game today. Young team. Their shooting in the second half was horrendous. But the last couple minutes was exciting. Next year!

I think the tag whore's, and cronies related to AZSFW, probably thought they were just going to waltz in and get this bill passed. Now that we have seen their thru their lies and deception, and put up a fight, we get called whiners and bitchers, as well as being the "vocal minority" Really? But hey, If I don't do anything for wildlife conservation, I am not allowed to voice my opinion? Really? is that the mentality of these yahoo's? You try and steal from me and all Arizona sportsman, and then call me names.? I find it ironic that whenever a sensitive issue arises, that we get a flurry of new members signing up to this website, who rant and rave, and call us names, and then scurry away like a cockroach. Mean while, your lobbyist is at the Govenors office trying to pull the wool over thier eyes. Telling them what a wonderful economic boost this bill would be,blah, blah, blah! Nothing but a bunch of liars, using the name of wildlife conservation for your theft. Any guide or outfitters in support of HB2072 should be ashamed of themselves for putting profit above principal. I for one will not support any business or entity that is in favor of HB2072. I will be vocal. It is my right! -
Another Wildcat Win! The ASU Crickets are chirping!

Is the seat thats mounted in the bed facing forwards or backwards. If it is mounted up front by the rollbar you can attach the seatbelts to the roll bar/frame. If the seat is facing forward there is usually a frame that bolts to the floor of the bed that the seat mounts to and has seatbelt mounts on it.

The WIldcats are moving on in the Pac-12 Tourny. The ASU players are sitting at home eating Cheeto's.

Exactly. I don't like Romney, but I hate Obama. It is the theory of "lesser of 2 evils"! -

Most people are going to support the front runner, which currently is Romney. I am not impressed with any of them. But IMO, anyone of them is better than the snake of a President we have now. Today Ted Nugent officially endorsed Romney, for whatever that is worth? Its all a game anyway, and the game is rigged! I just hope that come November, the American Voters realize that there is currently a Wolf in Sheeps clothing residing in the Whitehouse, and he needs to go! -

I bet Team Greenback is salivating over the thought of all those rich clients with tags. -

I have not, and never will be, a supporter of auction tags, govenors tags or whatever tags are sold to the highest bidder. The wildlife belongs to everyone. Game & Fish are the stewards of the wildlife. If they want tags for auction let them have the leftovers. How much is an early Whitetail hunt in Unit 30B worth? The solution is simple, but not popular. Raise tag, or license fee's, with an amendment that the increase will go toward wildlife programs. Or as DesertBull mentioned. Go with a Habitat Stamp program. I would gladly buy a stamp for say $50, that I would put on the back of my license, if I was 100% guaranteed that that money would be used for what it is intended. The biggest problem is keeping extra monies from being scooped into the State of Arizona general fund.G&F has seen that happen before. HB2072 is an abomination. It opens the door for all kinds of future problems. It will be a great day when AZSFW ceases to exist. AZSFW should be ashamed of themselves for trying to pass this bill. It shows an utter lack of character by the board members and the Organization as a whole. They are no different than the people behind USO. Greedy, tag grabbing, gimme, gimme gimme, so I can make big money off my rich clients. Makes me sick! -

It would be nice to have some "Fat Cats" on our side. If we could get enough people to pony up some cash for a lawsuit agaisnt AZSFW, and with any luck get the court to put sanctions on it, at least until the current State sesion is over. That would keep HB2072 on the back burner, and buy some time to fight it. -

In 2007 we were camping at the Hoyer Campground in Greer. I went down to flyfish Becker Lake one morning, and found over 20 dead Jackrabbits dead in the water at the boat ramp, as well as in the parking lot, which was trashed out. Game&Fish showed up about a half hour later to clean up the mess. I was told it was done by some of the crazy cult isolationist groups that live in the area, in retaliation for bait fishing being banned at Becker. Don't know how true the story is but thats what I was told.

One of the things about Unit 27, it has lots of lions. But the ironic part of it, is I have hunted there since the late 70's, and have hiked hundreds of miles, and have only seen 1 Lion. I have found alot of kills, tracks, sign, etc., I can only imagine the amount of Lions that have watched me as I have hiked through the terrain. I guess I am just not lucky enough to see them.
